Very professional and honest. Hard to find ppl these days that are honest and hard working.

did not get completed in time frame promised, quality of work and materials substandard, and nearly 10 years later I'm still having to have things redone that were not done correctly, so it's costing me double.

Did not complete job. Walked off with my money and did not finish the job.

It ended up that I had to hire a new company to put on a new roof. The building inspector came back and said i had to replace the roof. Because the roof was not right and during a big rainstorm we ended up having damage done to our ceiling, walls and in our garage. With the landscaping they planted plants in the wrong places and they all died. The patio is already falling apart. The owner acknowledged that the roof was bad and promised to pay me back but he never has. I also know that he does not deduct taxes from his employee's paychecks.

Stay far away from this contractor. He is bad news. I had him work on 2 rehab projects, which he did not finish either 1 of them. One of the projects was a week's worth of work, maybe 2 if you stretch it. 7 Weeks later he was still working on it with no end in site. The other project was about a 6 week project and that one went on for months. He claimed it was a money issue and paying his guys, which is part of why we started the 2nd project with him - not sure why we did that now, but it was a very bad choice on our part. He will do what he can to coerce the money out of you and then not complete the work. If you do happen to use him, make sure the work is complete before you pay him. He is a smooth talker, but that is all he is - all talk, no performance. This contractor is bad news. Go elsewhere. I have since found out that I am not the only one KLT has done this to. He does not cleanup his job sites. We spent a lot of money with him (embarrassed to say how much as it was more than the amount put above). Result was no finished product before we had to tell him to stay away. Now, we are recovering from our bad choice in using his lack of services. Run as fast as you can from this contractor. I have video of the condition of his work after I told him not come back to our jobs - it is not a pretty thing. On many occasions, I had arguments with KLT/Tyson Kilgore due to the lack of completed work - he is just not professional in how he treats his customers. Quality of work is very poor. For instance, he hung paneling with staples because the nails were too hard to use and put in - this was in mobile home rehab. KLT does things out of order. An example, flooring (carpet) put in place before ceiling completed with texture. I could go on and on, but I must move on at this time. Just stay away for this contractor. He will not make things right for you.

Very poorly. We hired this man to do a variety of handyman work and remodeling. We didn't expect to encounter the problems we did.
