The owner is Don Hammon. They also go by the name ThrillBuilders. Nobody should be in contact with them. They are scam artists. They are horrible. They claim to be commercial only and the guy owns a wheelbarrow. We sort of knew these people socially, through other connections. After he was so bad, and screwed up, and he wouldn't come back to finish the job, and of course had most of his money I contacted another company that he was bragging about doing work for. I talked to a lady and she told me that the work was horrible and that he was a scam artist. They are just horrible. They don't finish anything that they do. I told him that something was leaking and he said "Oh, I figured it would." If you thought it would leak, why would you leave it? They didn't finish it and the roof was leaking. It would take me months for me to get him to come back. The whole thing took 2 years. It took 6 months to get to where I could half-way use it and he told me it would take 4 weeks. It was done in the summer so weather was not an issue. They are just the biggest rip-off artists. And lazy! Oh my gosh. When you sort of know someone through other connections, you think "Oh okay, they'll do what they say." You can put this in red blazing letters. It was $84,000.00 dollars and they didn't finish it. The roof leaks and I have a whole list of things they didn't do. He told me "Oh, we're just desperate for money." Well, yah. When people use you once, they'll never use you again. I wrote him and tried to call him to get him to finish up some things and the last time I wrote him was in March. I told him that I was extremely angry that he was disregarding finishing this room and that he initially told me that it would take 4 weeks. I have this long, long letter and I repeatedly asked for the lien releases on the remaining two payments that I had given to him. I would probably give him a C on his price. If they had come back and finished the work and fixed the problems that they created. Heavens no, I would not use him again. He needs to be run out of town.
Description of Work: Hammons Construction put on addition to our house. It was a kennel room for our show dogs.
