Overhead Door

A spring broke on my garage door so I called the Overhead Door Company of Peoria, Springfield, Bloomington & The Quad Cities on Thursday 6-7-12.   They said they could schedule a service call the following day and gave me an estimate of $145 for the installation of the garage door spring along with $25 to replace a broken trolley (unique to Genie screw drive openers).   I asked when I could expect the installers to arrive and the person said to call back the next day after 8:30 AM and they could give me a time.  I called back the following day around 8:45 AM and they said the installers would arrive sometime before noon.  Because I was at work, I asked if someone would be able to call me when the installers were on their way so I could leave work and meet them at my home. The woman at Overhead Door said "absolutely."    They didn't call.  They arrived shortly before noon, luckily, I went home for lunch and they arrived before I had to return to work.   No one called. 
The repairs were made without incident and it took just a bit over 1/2 hour.  Before leaving, one of the installers sprayed the spring and trolley track with a lubricant that appeared to be akin to WD-40.  It took him less than 20 seconds. 
The bill arrived on 6-13-12 and the charges matched the extimate except for an additional charge described as:  "LUBRIPLATE - LUBED ALL - ALL IS IN WORKING ORDER   $6.98"   Seems to me the unexpected additional $6.98 is simplay a way Overhead Door pads their bills.  
I may use this company again, and if I do, I will ask for a list of all potential charges and insist that I be called before they come to my home.
