"Thank You for taking the time to fill out a review for us. It was a pleasure to work with you both and help you get through this trying time."
I couldn't believe how little dust was produced during this project. He and his men were on time every day and he immediately addressed all our concerns. I am so happy with the way it all turned out and we would definitely hire Take 2
in the future. Thanks Take 2!

"Thank You so much for taking the time to fill out this review. It was truly a pleasure getting to work for and know the two of you. I hope you enjoy the new bathroom and have a blessed life."
Below are a list of things we had done:
Doors hung
Trim and Base board tacked up Trim and baseboards painted
opening in stairway wall redone (to a more modern look)
Laundry room put in (previously did not have a designated spot for Laundry so washer and dryer were in the garage)
Shelving installed in the garage for additional storage
half bathroom added to the home, installed tile floor toilet and vanity, also installed sound proofing insulation around the half bath (this was at his suggesgtion and a feature I greatly apritiate!)
Kitchen remodeled
Cabinets replaced, new sink and counter top installed;
Additional opening in Wall created for additional hallway
Widened a different opening into the dinning room to make it flow better.
Pantry and shelves (according to our needs) Added
Over saw the installation of upgrading the copper pipes and the addition of a water softer
widened the closet opening and installed new closet doors to make the closet more functional
"Thank You for the kind words! It was a pleasure to work with you and remodeling your "new to you" new home. I hope you both make many new memories in your new space! P.S. There must have been a typo on the amount. It should have read $52,000. I wish we could do that for $12,000 :)"
Once we agreed on the scope and price of the project, Paul proposed a schedule and completed it to on time. We had hoped to have the project completed prior to a family gathering, and Paul was able to make that happen! During the construction, when our kitchen was unusable, Paul arranged to set-up a make-shift kitchenette in our family room to use.
We really love the work that Paul performed in our kitchen. The craftsmanship and attention to details was excellent. All of our family and friends have given us outstanding compliments on the look of our new kitchen. I would certainly recommend Paul Miller from Take2 Custom Remodeling to anyone considering a remodeling project!
"Thank You for the kind words! I had a wonderful time getting to know you and your family throughout your project. I'm sure there will be many good meals served from your new kitchen!"
It took him a week to get it done and then he came back a couple weeks later to finish up (after allowing me time to paint). Things were still going ok. The day he came back he merely installed the trim and to my amazement he snuck out while I was on the phone without saying goodbye and the job was unfinished (and he left a mess)! I immediately called to see where he was and he acted like he didn't even realize that he left saying something else came up and “before he knew it he was on the highway” .....what???
One of the shelves he installed fell down 2 days after he hung it because it wasn’t attached to a stud. This was hung on the wall he put up too. So he re-hung that shelf in a stud but left the large holes in the wall from where it fell down. For the light, he installed a square fluorescent light in the ceiling in place of the previous round light - which was fine however, he didn’t bother to patch the old round circle in the ceiling so now that there’s a square light you can see up into the ceiling because it was never patched and finished. Lastly, he installed new baseboard trim (which I also painted) and must have run out because there's one wall left without any trim at all. So he left without saying goodbye and I'm stuck with a hole in the ceiling, a few holes in the wall and missing trim on the floor. That's not what a $1700 closet sounds like to me!
I was completely shocked that he left without abruptly and that day he left me a long message apologizing and promising to come back – saying how out of character it was of him. I am here to say that is totally his character and here’s why - it’s now been three months, I have called and emailed him numerous times, and he's promised to come back to finish on at least 3 separate occasions - all of which he canceled at the last minute. I finally gave him 30 days to finish and that didn't happen either. So needless to say I'm not using him for the kitchen. I believe that how you do anything is how you do everything and anyone who sneaks out on a unfinished job only to never come back again is definitely NOT gutting my kitchen.
"It was a pleasure working with you and your wife. The color selections you made work great!"
"Thank you for filling out this review! The countertop you selected makes all the difference!"
