We specialize in window & door replacement. We provide new construction as well as installation. We provide free in-home estimates and consultations in order to create long lasting solutions, building value and efficiency into your home. History Established in 1957 Kornesczuk Windows & Doors got started in the building/windows/doors field as Gilman Builders and K.C.Construction in 1957 by Casimir Kornesczuk. In the mid 80's, Jim, with his father Casimir, and brother Eugene, sought to narrow their scope. This focus would be towards providing windows/doors/gazebo kits rather than general building and construction. The two companies were now known as K.C. Construction and Cedar Gazebo's Inc.. In the 90's due to the success of each venture, the companies would split, Jim with K.C. and Eugene with Cedar, in order to streamline each process. POW! Kornesczuk Windows & Doors is born. Now into the 2000's, Kornesczuk Windows & Doors, led by James Kornesczuk, is geared more than ever towards identifying customer wants and needs in this ever changing economy. We provide the latest in energy efficient technologies. By providing the highest quality products and installation techniques we create added and lasting value and comfort. With over 40 years personal experience with windows and doors, specifically in the greater Chicago-land area, you will be hard pressed to find a more qualified professional group to address all of you window and door needs! We rep several manufacturers, including Weather Shield & Velux, who offer environmentally friendly products. We ourselves practice every means of recycling products available to us. This year we are in the process of sharing our profits with local non for profit organizations. We are committed to expand the development of environmentally friendly window and door systems, while actively supporting our community as well. The in home estimate was done by Jim the owner and totally relaxed and low pressure. Products he uses are quality as is the installation work performed.
I had shopped for a long, long, long, time at all of the big box stores and was tired of talking with people who knew nothing about windows other than their half hour training class.
Jim and his team are craftsmen, who know their trade and are skilled.
Installation was very good, final products look great, all debris was removed from site and other than great new windows you wouldn't know they had been there.
Total professionalism. I will use them again and plan to as soon as the Spring arrives. Highly recommended. You will not be sorry for hiring a craftsman.
One additional point, with installation cost, price was less than all of the big box stores.
Bottom line: If you need new windows call Jim. More than happy to respond to reference requests and messages etc.
