It was great to work with Mark from start to finish. Their prices where very fair and the work was quality. Other companies wanted to open up my walls and charge me extra labor. Marks team came in and installed everything within 2 hours with no extra labor to my home. The main plumber was very experienced and even fixed other parts of my pipes that were not part of the original project. Great service all around.

I thought I wanted a reverse osmosis whole house water filtration system. the thing I do not like about that is it wastes a lot of water and takes out everything including the minerals. I also have very limited space to install it in. mark installed a whole house water filtration system that is the next best thing to reverse osmosis and was able to install a second filter that needs to be changed out yearly but gets rid of bad stuff the big unit did not. it will remove ninety eight percent of all the bad stuff I do not want in my water. he came out soon after I asked for an estimate and sent the quote right away and was able to install it within days of that so very fast. no more strong chlorine smell and water pressure is normal. sorry to say I had a closer look at the way it was installed and saw they used pvc plastic pipe leading from my incoming water meter to the water filtration system and from the system to my incoming water line. I thought pvc is only supposed to be used for drainage so they did not do the job up to code that i am familiar with. I bought a water filtration system because I am concerned about toxins in the water not to have more toxins added cancerous nonetheless with pvc pipe bringing the filtered water into my house for usage. very disappointed. just contacted mark to have him use copper instead of plastic. he came back and switched out the plastic for copper. mark is good with customer service. i am still waiting for water test results. i would like to know the difference between before and after installing the system for my water quality to know if it was worth getting it or not. i would like to know how much difference it makes. no idea how long it takes to get those water tests results...really want to see a significant difference i am hoping for.

From the quoting process to the check in after install, Mark was professional, thorough, and very knowledgeable. I thought I needed a whole house filtration system but after checking, Mark said I only needed a softener. Mark followed up to make sure everything was working well - the water in my house is noticeably softer after only a few days. Mark installed an osmosis system and troubleshooted my old water softener. Turns out, I didn't need a new system. Culligan waters wanted to sell me parts costing more than a new softener. Very reasonably priced and professional.

Mark, the owner, was fantastic! Their pricing was the best I received over 6 companies. They went over and beyond to make sure our system was installed correctly and helped us with our garbage disposal install and new faucet. I would highly recommend Chicago Water Pros hands down!

Mark was very easy to work with and very professional. His response to first quote all the way to the installation showed great customer service. He even followed up with a phone call after installation to insure me that if any adjustments we feel need to be done, to just call him and heâ d take care of it. i hired this contractor for a water softener issue, they gave me an estimate and payed them $129, but over the phone they never said that this payment will be for a trip fee, besides they gave me a wrong diagnosis since they said that i need to replace the whole system so i had another contractor for a second opinion and they did not do a replace since it was not necessary and it is working fine, i feel disappointed for they way that i was treated

More affordable than all other quotes we received. Honest. Kind. Fast. The owner followed up the next day to see if we had questions and ensure everything was working properly. We highly recommend Mark and team!

I need to update my review. I thought I needed a new water softener due to I seen water under the tank. I had Mark come and replace it. We had no issues with communication at first. After it was installed I was still getting water under the tank. It was very difficult to get a hold of him. After many text he finally contacted me back and said he was out of town. He made an appointment to come over to look at it. However, after my son waited all day for him I received a call at 3 saying he couldnt make it due to child care issues. I then called a plumber. Needs to work on communication. However, he did try to make things right.

HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK. This family-owned business? is only one person: Mark. If you call for sales, the message goes to Mark. If you call for service, the message goes to Mark. Mark is a personable guy. His prices are competitive. I think he builds the water softeners in his basement. There is not a nameplate anywhere on the unit. He is still in business, so he must be selling enough water treatment systems to stay afloat, but you can expect ZERO customer service response after the sale. Mark has an answering service to take incoming calls. Mark is always away from his phone right now though the woman answering the phone will always put you on hold for a second to check but you will never be able to do anything more than leaving a message. Do not waste your breath complaining. She cannot help you. But you can be certain that Mark will NOT respond to your message. Mark *might* return your call if you are looking for a new install, but do not be surprised if he misses your appointment and needs to reschedule. A lot of things come up for Mark. If he keeps the appointment, he will most likely be late. If you buy from Mark, it will be the last time you ever hear from him. He does NOT respond to service calls. He does NOT return calls. If you buy from Mark, you *are* the mark. Read other reviews. Almost everyone says the same thing about Mark responsiveness. Decide whether it is worth it for you. Home Advisor requires a minimum rating of 2 to stay on their list. Mark will maintain at least a 2 because enough people will rate his service immediately after the sale when they are still feeling positive about the install. I, too, felt positive about my experience with Mark until I needed service 11 months after the install and could not get him to respond, let alone come out and fix the problem, after repeated calls. Bottom line: Once you make a purchase, Mark will disappear. That is everything you need to know about Chicago Water Pros. Make your own decision.
