+ -1 moreHe really seems to enjoy a challenge and figuring out how to do the installation. Everything went normally during the installation this summer and fall. We were very pleased with his work. It was in December that Jim really took a personal concern about a problem that developed. This problem was probably created to the lack of insulation and venting of the eves. The new furnace sits above the garage and vents the water vapor thru a pvc pipe running between the garage ceiling and closet floor. It travels parallel to the joists and releases over the patio. It was freezing up on the end and backing the water into the furnace. Anyways, he came out last Saturday and Sunday to solve the problem. First Jim put a heating tape on the end and then came back to run a heating duct along the pvc pipe and perforated the tube all the way to the end. Needless, to say the problem was solved. He is always calling and wants to know if there is anything else he can do for us.
Description of Work: Jim contracted to do all the heating / AC for our new addition. This included a new furance, air conditioner, all the supplies and labor. We had a somewhat challenging ceiling to place all the vents, ducts and return air ducts due to the tray-ceiling. We also had him put in a few dampeners in our old duct system to control the amount of heat in our aged tri-level.It solved the problem very inexpensively. He also placed return air ducts in both the closets to keep it warmer in the winter. The closets sit over the garage.
