Never completed siding work. Told that they would get back to me.(never happen, not even once) After Dozens of phone calls was finally given siding install date of Nov 13th. That never happened. They told me it was to cold to complete the work. Yet on Nov14th the installed siding on my Neighbors house in 18 Degree weather. Asked for Refund. Was told their attorney would write up release.(That never happened) On Dec 2nd I receive email that they still want to complete work and if I want a refund they would keep 25 % of total job for lost income. Have my attorney contact them and their attorney to work out settlement. We were told that they would set date to complete work. Never heard back. All phone numbers for the firm are disconnected. They have stolen over 3K deposit for siding work.
We signed a contract in August, 2013 with Sentry to replace our roof, siding, soffit, and gutters. We were promised, by Steve, that the whole project would take approximately 10 days to 2 weeks with the work to begin within 2 weeks. The first time Sentry crews appeared at our home was Oct. 4, 2013. On Christmas Eve, 2013, we noticed water on the ceiling in 5 different rooms in our home. Sentry was notified of the leaking roof and advised that final payment could not be made until the cause was resolved and the building permit was closed. Sentry responded with a law suit dated Jan. 24, 2014, demanding full payment, forcing us to spend thousands of dollars to defend our position. As a result of the law suit, a mutual agreement was reached that included full payment and held in escrow until the work permit was closed, at which time we should have received these documents. Sentry has long been payed in full and we have yet to see any documents.
Entering into a contractual agreement with Sentry has been the most regrettable experience we have had within the 30 years that we have owned our home.
The few times my husband was able to speak directly to Keith, my husband had to tell him what repairs were needed, Keith is completely in the dark about the items listed in the contract. The woman who answers the office phone number has told us that Keith is the owner of Sentry.
The garage damage from the initial tree strike has worsened over time and Sentry's neglect. I sent a picture to Sentry in October 20 of how the garage roof is caving in and the overhang is falling further and that I feared the whole thing will collapse. Keith said "Cody will call you." Cody, whoever that is, never called.
Weather has been Sentry's excuse many times. the weather has been wonderful all spring, fall and up until now.
I would not recommend Sentry to anyone.
team. Great communication. Things done when promised. Great quality
and follow-up, including the repair of 6 window screens which were torn
during the course of the work. .
If you get work done by Sentry make sure to ask for Dennis and his team.
