WISEMAN TOWING

treeI remember when TOW trucks were there to help stranded motorists. Those days are long gone apparently, they now work for the police (who I also thought were there for the people) We were pulled over in a car we got from the garage while they worked on ours. We just happened to be pulled over literally right across the street from the garage. The officer would NOT let us pull it over (we even said we'd push it) He called WISEMAN TOWING which is in another town to come and impound the car. As soon as he made the call it cost us $150.00 Admin TOW fee and when we went to get the car no one told us it would cost $170.00 CASH. Mind you we just paid $150.00 TOW fee now $170.00 CASH to get it. The lady at WISEMAN was none too friendly and agreed it cost so much because the police called it out. With no compassion what so ever the lady made the comment,"I hope you belong to a church so they can help you pay for this." Yes I belong to a church but not to use them to make greedy people rich. She had her children outside with her as she conducted business knowing in a lot of circumstances it could get ugly. My son asked her,"What if people don't have this kind of money right now?(he had just got paid and that was money for rent and bills) She replied,"We don't barter and we don't make payment plans but we do charge $30.00 a day. WOW...So they made $170.00 for one 10 mile tow and was none so nice about it. The only reason I said we may use them again is because sometimes you DON'T have a choice. Givin a choice...NO!
