iWindy City Countertops was a referral from a contractor I've used for years. I had older formica countertops, and wanted to freshen up the look in my kitchen. Gabriel brought all the things needed on the first visit, including books from which I selected a new sink, and the type of granite I was looking for.
I liked that he had me go to the wholesaler to select the actual piece of granite to be used in my kitchen - it was a very fun process, and although the amount of choices was a bit intimidating, I liked getting to select which piece to use. This was smart too--it takes away the chance for confusion if the contractor makes the choice.
The installation went pretty smooth, and I was pleased with the work. The guys were good about getting the last little details finished to my satisfaction in a timely manner. I work in real estate, and would hire these guys again, and also refer them to clients and colleagues.
