A sales rep came right out after we called. He gave us a competitive quote. We gave them the job for the furnace in Aug 2017. They arrived when they said they would. The two installers were very efficient, polite, quiet and totally cleaned up after the job. Furnace worked fine all winter. Come spring we needed a new A/C unit. Everything was the same as for the furnace. That was two months ago, and unlike other people, we've run our air a lot because we like it nice and cool. The A/C's been working fine. We highly recommend this company.

They said they would be there tomorrow by 8:00 AM and were actually a little early. We were up and running in about four hours.

It was just fine. They did an excellent job. They’ve come out and serviced them both, just normal checkup and did a super job. I have the stuff serviced annually to keep on top of it. I would use them again without hesitation.

I bought a new furnace and air conditioner from them 2 years ago. They are prompt efficient, neat.

excellent work at a reasonable price

I have used this company for repairs and maintenance for a number of years with good results. I had already gone to the manufacturer's website to check their recommendation for a new unit which, of course, was the top of the line. The owner took into consideration my needs and budget constraints when estimating the cost in addition to the size of my house and explained the pluses and minuses for each type of product that was offered. He also made sure I received all possible rebates and discounts. The company applied for most rebates in my name; therefore, the discounts came off the bottom line - so no waiting! They also took care of registering my unit with the manufacturer. Although the price was higher than some competitors; it was because I chose to have the Trane brand for which they are specialists and not the low end model. Old units were hauled away and everything was cleaned up on the inside and outside. Instructions were given before they left and differences between my old furnace and the new high efficiency were explained.

They're excellent. They don't try to sell you things you don't need. Their price is good. I haven't had a ounce of trouble since they started servicing my units. I was pleased, they were clean and neat. They explained things to me. 

They were refereed to me by a neighbor, it turned out that I was his leader in Cub Scouts.

Very consistently excellent service. They had actually put in at one time a whole our air conditioner and another time heating. they are the real McCoy for us.

The air conditioning unit was working, but the fan was not blowing on "auto" and also on "on". Since we purchased our furnace from K & J, we decided to call them. I was able to schedule a time window for them to come out that was most convenient for me. Jim came out on the 22nd and said that we needed a new ECM module. He said the part had to be ordered from Trane and programmed for the size of our furnace. He said it was a $500 part, but that the installation was no more than 5 minutes, so the 1/4 hour rate of $35 would be charged. He showed me the part and explained that to install the part, he would need to undo 2 screws and 2 plugs. He said it was so easy, even I could do it. We scheduled the follow-up appointment for the 24th, at 7am.
Another technician, Vince, showed up as promised at 7am and after 15 minutes of banging I asked him if there was a problem. He said that the ECM module was difficult to install and that he had to pull everything apart (there were parts on the floor that were not there on the 22nd when Jim showed me the ECM module in his hand). He said that he was now working on lining up the ECM module within this other part and it was off about an inch. He proceeded to bang  against these parts to get it to line up. I'm not a technician and don't know the first thing about "parts", but I would guess that parts are designed to click into place, and noisy banging indicates a bigger problem: you have the wrong part or you're doing it wrong. When I told him how the first technician said it would only take 5 minutes, he said that the first technician didn't know what he was talking about. In any case, after 45 minutes (in total) the banging stopped and he said he was done and everything was put back together. I turned the air on, and it worked. 
At this point he gives me the bill. The $500 part was actually $536, and the labor was $105 for 45 minutes, so the total with the "10% off parts" coupon was $588. This was $100 more than I expected. I expected the part to be $500 (actually $450 with the coupon) and labor to be $35 for a total of $485.
 I'm disappointed that the install took longer than was promised and that the part cost more than I expected. But most importantly, I am so disappointed that the technicians contradicted each other and that one would actually put down the other technician as "he doesn't know what he was talking about".

Our regular repair company diagnosed bad motor, frozen coil, etc. on 20 plus year old furnace and we decided to get a new one. We found this company on Angie's list and we were ready to call them when saw the truck in neighbors driveway.asked if they'd come over. Kip, one of the owners, was patient and spent over an hour with me on a a call he didn't even have. We bought a high efficiency furnace. They were great about accommodating my vacation schedule and explained all our options and explained what another company had told us in error about size of furnace, diameter of duct work, etc. Their price was higher than the other 2 companies but we trusted them as both our neighbors have used them in the past. They are now our go to furnace and a/c company.

We have used K&J in the past and were impressed by their honesty and willingness to repair only what was needed. Compared to other heating companies who were more eager to upsell, this response was very important to us. So when our air conditioner didn't work very well on the first hot day this year, we knew who tho call.
The technician (I'm afraid I don't have his name) came out and, speaking with my husband, determined what the issue was and was able to replace the fan as he had the one we needed in his truck. He had no problems answering all the questions my husband had.
Our HVAC system is aging, but with K&J's help, we hope we can keep it running efficiently for some years to come!

K&J did a great job installing our new Trane A/C unit. The quality of their work is excellent, and their pricing is fair. We highly recommend them.

I can do business with them with confidence because the job will be done right. One other thing I liked about them is they are a union shop. Their employees are members of the sheet metal workers union. They are a little better paid, they get some benefits, like retirement and health insurance. As a matter of fact, as it dries up the labor cost a little bit, the sheet metal workers union is trying to get into the residential market because they focus primarily on commercial and industrial. One of the rebates was $350 from the union which neutralized the difference in the prices so I thought that was pretty good that the employer would employ union people like that. They do cost more but for the most part, trained better.

I was glad to have an inspection and resolution of my problem without suggestions of additional work that could be done.  My house is on the market and the technician acknowledged that and only performed the work that was necessary.

We have had the same guy since we started using them. It says a lot about the company if the employees stay there that long. We will use them again in the future until we move.
