Jet Fan Attic Fans

Jet Fan were highly recommended by our attic insulation installers. We booked Jet Fan over the phone. The gentleman came to our house, was very professional. Prior to his visit, we bought the bathroom fan/light from a store and he installed it. Jet Fan replaced an attic fan that no longer worked. I wouldn't hesitate to use Jet Fan again, and would recommend them to anyone. It made a huge difference in the temperature of the house in the final hot summer days, and I expect we'll save money down the road on energy costs.

Jet Fan has been great for us. We have had two fans installed in our two different homes and have not been disappointed. Our current fan stopped working recently. Called and left message and received a call back right away. To my surprise, they were able to come out early the next day to repair. Jeff was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired it in less than 20 minutes. Very professional and very neat in his work (took time to take off shoes, laid down drop cloth to protect carpet, etc.). Also very punctual and was in fact early for the appointment. Would highly recommend Jeff and Jet Fan to anyone looking to install an attic fan. We truly notice a difference in the temperature in our house and the amount of time our AC runs.

Jeff did a great job and was very accommodating since I needed a job completed ASAP. I had a new ceiling fan and bathroom fan installed where there was not one prior. Jeff did an awesome job on both projects and even used a high quality roof vent and duct to vent the bathroom fan. My attic is only about 3 feet high, so it's very difficult to work up there. I really appreciate Jeff's skills and diligence to do excellent work.

I got three other quotes and opinions and his was right in line with the others. We chose to go with him because of the quality of the attic fan and quality of his service and follow up.

Jeff "the Jet Fan man" is great!  He did exactly what he said he would do and charged us exactly what he said he would charge.  He's got an excellent attitude and seems like a bit of a perfectionist, which we really appreciated.  We would highly recommend him!

I was able to get an appointment scheduled in a timely manner. The service call was $150. I was told what I was describing sounded like I needed a new belt. They were very upfront and said the new belt would be around $20. They were on time and looked at our fan which is original to our 1950's home. The guy then ran out because he did not have the part he needed. He put a new belt on and sottered part of the fan. He fixed our fan and kept it under $200. Told us it would run forever if we serviced it. I was very happy with the work.

Better than I hoped or could even imagine. My whole house fan was making noise and not moving air the way it used to.
He identified the problem as a belt, said they should last longer than that. Waived the service fee entirely. I have never experienced such integrity in any workman or business owner concerning my home. Or in any other way for that matter.

Jeff and Debbie are wonderful to work with. Debbie is very knowledgeable and provided a quote and all information by phone, and Jeff came and installed on an extremely cool and windy day. He was very prompt, courteous, neat, and was able to install everything from the roof without even having to go in the attic.

Attic fan stopped working a couple of weeks later. Jeff came out to inspect right away, and the problem was due to our original wiring in the attic and he fixed at no additional charge. Very impressed with his service.

Fan is quiet, powerful, and seems to keep our second floor a lot cooler.

The upstairs was drastically cooler, about 7-8 degrees which made a huge difference. You no longer felt as if your breathe was being taken away when you walked to the top of the landing. I did not deal with the company, however my wife did say the gentleman was very courteous and was on time.

I had a roofing contractor install this new Power Jet Fan for me when they put a new roof on my 40 year old home on Aug. 2013 . I did a lot of online research about attic vent fans and came across the Jet Fan on there Web - Site, and I am glad I found them. My old roof vent fan lasted for over twenty years and only had to replace the motor one time about three years back. It was American made and was a good one , I had a hard time finding another one of good quality to replace it , then I found this Jett Fan online and it looked like what I wanted. I had it shipped to my home in about three days and was not disappointed when I opened the box , It is the best fan that I looked at and I was at all the Big Box stores . My roofing contractor was impressed with it and was happy to install it for me. It is about 50% as loud as my old fan and it does not vibrate my knickknack shelf in the hallway , this makes my wife happy.

Jeff went to the roof and removed the old fan. He put the new one in and also put in a new thermostat and firestat. He showed me a picture that he had taken when he was up on the roof which showed both the old and the new fan. He checked to make sure that the new fan was working and also answered some questions that I had.

The appointment was for 9:00am and they called the evening before and asked if they could reschedule for later in the day due to getting behind. I appreciated the call and rescheduled for 3:00pm. The installer arrived on time at 3:00 and had the installation done in under an hour. The job was well done, there was no mess and he was very courteous. It was more than a lot of its competitors but I really appreciate that it is 100% American made with a very good warranty.

I spent $180 with them. They were one time. They were very professional. The price was great. I had another quote that was about three times what they had quoted me. They did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves.

I called Jet-Fan. They called me back within 24 hours. They asked me several questions and were able to give me a quote over the phone. Based on the great reviews on Angies List I asked them to come and do the work. They were able to schedule me for just 5 days from the date of my call. I was grateful, because the weather had been so hot. Jeff was prompt for our 7:00 am appointment. He worked quickly and left no traces of mess or dirt. He was done by 9:00 am.
I do not hear the fan at all. My husband says that he does, but it is very quiet. I can't comment on the effectiveness, because the weather has been cooler, but we have gove almost 10 days with no A/C and its August.

We were concerned about attic heat and humidity and started researching attic fans. I stumbled onto JetFanUSA.com and was impressed with the level of detail this company offered. Rather than purchasing a flimsy attic fan from the big box stores, I opted for the Jet Fan product. I was given an accurate quote and scheduled the installation. Since we scheduled our installation in April, we received a $25 discount.
Jeff arrived on time and reviewed his recommended fan size. Based on the size of our attic, we agreed to purchase the 747. Since Jeff did not find any worrisome humidity, he did not see a need for the optional humidistat. While inspecting our attic, he also took the time to replace some insulation that was moved during a ceiling fan outlet installation. Thanks! Since our newer home had plenty of soffit vents, Jeff did not need to install any additional ventilation. (The 747 installation price normally includes up to 5 additional vents.) We received another discount for the uninstalled vents. Jeff took the time to explain their warranty and the (lack of) required maintenance. He finished the job in 1 1/2 hours.
It's been nearly 2 months since the fan was installed. We've been surprised on how often it turns on, but then we feel how cool our second floor is now. The fan turns on at 100 degrees and off at 90 degrees. Overall, the fan is louder than we expected, but we have adjusted to the noise. We've never lived in a house with an attic fan, so perhaps we underestimated the sound. We are pleased with our purchase and have recommended Jet Fan to several friends.

Debbie was able to give me an accurate estimate over the phone, and Jeff arrived on time to install it. When he looked over the situation, he determined that I would need more roof vents than I had in order for the fan to do its best job. Because this is an old house, there were a few surprises along the way -- an odd shaped opening, unsound plaster, a cramped attic and the need for bird-proof vents -- but Jeff took all of it in stride and got the job done in a very professional manner.
A few weeks later, I had an issue with the switch and shutter (neither was Jeff's fault). Jeff ordered new parts and returned promptly to replace both of them, even though the process required more plaster work. I would definitely hire Jeff again, and have already recommended him to a couple of other homeowners in the area.

I called on Thursday afternoon and got a call back on Friday evening. She was very informative about the attic fans and the procedure to install. I wasn't 100% sure if I really needed one but she did a good job of explaining the benefits and we decided to go ahead with it. Luckily they were able to install the next day.

Jeff called on his way and he was a few minutes behind schedule. I had no problem with that and he did call to let me know and it was a last minute appointment.

He arrived and we talked for a few minutes and then he went to work. He did everything in a couple of hours and answered any questions. He was completely professional. I undestand he has installed thousands of attic fans and it does show in how he works. I only had a few questions and he answered those and gave me the warrenty information and reciept and he was on his way. It was quick and painless.

I didn't really shop around. They came highly recommended and I want someone with a lot of experience when it comes to cutting holes in my roof. The fan sells for around $350 on their website and the total cost was over $800. We paid for a humidistat control which they didn't really try to upsell they said I probably wouldn't need it in fact but for $50 more I decided it was worth it in case we ever had any humidity issues.

The fan was just put in so I can't report on how well it works yet.

Jeff showed on time and was very professional from beginning to end. I am very pleased with his service and will recommend his service to anyone. His price is higher than others but his service and products are well worth the extra cost.
