Water heater stopped working. I was out of town and my wife called them to fix or replace. They had her sign a form basically saying they could charge her whatever they wanted to replace. They put in an $800 water heater in 2 hours (basically charging me $850 per hour). When I got back in town I called them (They are part of ARS group), asked why they would charge that much and they told me my wife had signed the form. After the fact, I found they had many reports to Better Business Bureau but they get around it by having so many different companies out there. Be aware of their business practices!

It took them 3 attempts to replace the valve (which was a $3.00 part).

He charged $500 for a shut off valve that was bad. I should have just said no but it was later on a Saturday night and he made it sound like it was a special thing. He had me over a barrel and took huge advantage of it. I should have checked the List before. I give them credit for being available after hours but they way overcharged.

This was probably the worst experience that I ever had. They advertise with a big shamrock in the paper and it is two guys with a truck. They told me that they needed this part so they ordered it and charged me all kinds of money. I can t recall how much exactly, but, come to find out; the part was only $15. I heard they were being investigated. I really did pay so much; I should have known something was going on. When I contacted them about it, they did refund me for the part. Now, they did do a good job fixing it, but because of all this I would still rate them very low in every category.

Whatever they did was temporary, because of course they didn t solve the problem. I still had leaks and water backing up. I had to call them back for them to put the toilet back because they forgot to, which they responded to quickly. They definitely overcharged us. I would never recommend them.

They came out and quoted me a very expensive faucet. I had already purchased the faucet and he was upset because we wanted the one installed that we purchased. We also had another problem in our bathroom which he went ahead and fixed without our permission. They were dishonest and misleading. Our bill was outrageous and we will never use them again.

I LEARNED LATER THAT THEIR PRICE WAS AT LEAST DOUBLE OTHER COMPANIES CHARGES FOR THE SAME WORK AND THAT THE WORKMAN WAS NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER, BUT RATHER A PIPE FITTER BY TRADE.

WHEN THEY CAME OUT, WE FOUND THAT THEY WERE REALLY OWNED BY A.R.S, WHICH IS OWNED BY SERVICE MASTER. THEY DIDN'T CLEAN THE SERVICE LINE ALL THE WAY OUT TO THE MAIN SEWER LINE, SO WE HAD TO HAVE ANOTHER COMPANY COME BACK TO DO THE JOB RIGHT SO THAT IT WOULD BE CLEARED ALL THE WAY. THE PRICE WAS DOUBLE WHAT OTHER PLUMBERS SAID THEY WOULD CHARGE, BUT IT WAS AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, AND WE HAD TO GO WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE THERE.

I DID GET THROUGH TO THE MANAGER AND HE EXPLAINED THAT THEY HAVE A LOT OF EXPENSES. WE DID CALL THE BBB AND THEY SAID IF THE WORK IS NOT DEFECTIVE THEY CAN NOT CONTROL THEIR PRICES. I DO BELIEVE THAT THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN BOUGHT OUT.
