A Plus High Quality Remodeling

I hired Ulises to take out an old exterior side door and replace it with one that I had bought from Menards. He and his partner did a great job and I think we negotiated a fair price. I felt comfortable with Ulises and his partner being at my home while my wife worked in another room and even when she had to go out to run an errand. They did a great job of cleaning up afterward and put extra effort into small details that left less work for us to do afterward. For example he broke down the old door frame into pieces and put what he could in the trash/recycling. I would hire Ulises again for handyman jobs around the house!

I hired Ulises to finish the walls and ceiling in my 2 car garage. Ulises and his partner took a day and a half to apply joint compound and then another two days for primer and paint. After the paint dried, I noticed there were issues that needed to be fixed since some areas were patchy, uneven, and had tiny holes in the finish. His partner came back to attempt to fix the issue but unfortunately made it worse since the touch up paint did not blend with the rest of the walls. After additional communication with Ulises, he came out a few days later to fix the issue and repaint the walls. The overall result was acceptable in the end but his partner did not do a quality job, and I would appreciate better attention to detail, prompt communication, and proactive effort to fix any issues more timely. The garage floor could've been vacuumed afterward as there was drywall dust from sanding which I had to vacuum myself.

Very considerate of my family. Responded via text and answered all my questions. Flexible as we added more to the job as we went on.

Ulisis and his partner did a great job replacing my old vanity with 2 new ones. They also took the time to fix the drywall that needed to be corrected because of size difference. I would hire them again. They were very respectful and did a wonderful job with cleanup!

Ulises and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and worked hard. They did a nice job installing a new exhaust fan in an old house, which was not a simple job. They were reasonably priced as well. I would definitely hire them again.

Ulises Calderon and his employee Mario worked their butts off completing a bathroom remodeling project for me. They show up on time, every day, and worked very work hard in pretty miserable conditions (small space and very hot). Extremely high quality work. The finished product is beautiful and their fee was very competitive. A few issues came up at the end of the project that required some creative solutions. However, overall, I'm extremely satisfied!! Note, I'm not an easy owner to work for. They customized, on-the-fly, several items: shower niche, corner bench, larger wood trim around a window, removed extra ceiling dry-wall, etc.. I highly recommend Calderon Remodeling!!!

Ulises Calderon did an incredible job painting our entire first floor walls and ceilings. He worked quickly and efficiently finishing the job in 3 days when he initially told us 4. We realized right as he was finishing up that we had meant for him to paint the interior of two hall closets that he had not done as it was not in the original contract. He said no problem, stayed 2 extra hours to finish them and did not charge anything additional. I highly recommend him!

Ulysses is very polite and easy to work with. Did excellent work...we made changes in between,but never lost patience. He did the work for the cost he quoted in spite of changes.

Ulisses is a great guy! He is very polite and pays attention to keeping his work confined to area and not create mess throughout rest of the house. He takes his time doing the work properly. My only complaint was an issue with my basement floor not being level and the plank tiles not being consistent. Ulisses did his best to compensate. He also came back, after the job, replace a few tiles that were off. I would recommend.

Ulysses is a perfectionist and does excellent work. he is also wonderful to deal with.

My only complaint is that Ulises asked me to email him to set up installation, and then he didn't get back to me. We finally connected to schedule and then he had to push the install back another week.

These guys did a great job installing our kitchen cabinets and crown molding! They were professional, on time, knowledgeable and the price for the work was excellent!
