Great! First of all the process of buying carpeting at this place is so much easier than other places because the price you see includes everything - carpeting, any pad, sales tax, and installation. There is no nickel and diming for each thing. Their carpet installers were professional and did an excellent job. They showed up right on time, worked quickly but carefully moving my furniture, removing the existing carpeting, laying down the new carpet (including vacuuming afterward), and replacing my furniture, including a grand piano. This is the second time I have used them to recarpet my entire house, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

From start to finish, we could not be more pleased. They had a wide selection of products and colors to choose from, and quoted us a good price for the entire job. When the manufacturer's error caused a delay of 4-6 weeks beyond the original installation date, Wholesale Carpet Designs negotiated a price adjustment from the manufacturer for us. The installation team was excellent. In addition to doing quality work, they were polite, neat and respectful of our home.

Found a good coupon in a local mailer and contacted Mark at the store.  He is very friendly and always picked up the phone personally to answer any questions during this whole process.  The installer, Neil, did not speak great English (and his helpers spoke none at all), but other than that he did a great job of putting in our flooring and working with me and the other contractors in the house to meet our schedules.  The job was done to our satisfaction and they even replaced the toliet with a new one and re-installed all the mouldings.  Best of all, they did the job for almost half the price of many of their competitors.

They were easy to work with.  They had a good selection.  They came through on everything they were supposed to do.  They had it done on time, and it was well done.  I was happy with their job.

Mark was very good at suggesting a carpet to meet our needs, he also price matched the price we got from Empire Carpet.  The carpet was also of superior quality than the Empire sample.  Mark was easy to work with and answered the phone every time I called.  Scheduling was very easy as well.  The installers were professional and courteous.  This review is for the Libertyville location, but I think all three stores use the same installers all carry the same carpeting.

Everyone was polite and knowledgeable at the Libertyville store. They were completely up front about the costs, etc., and very professional. Family-owned, and not pressure filled. We would use them again!

WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT, AND AFTER THE FACT, THE SALESMAN TOLD ME THAT HE HAD MADE A MISTAKE AND IT WAS REALLY GOING TO COST US $1000 MORE. WE SELECTED OUR TILE, AND THEN THEY CLAIMED THE TILE WAS NOT IN STOCK. SO WE WAITED 10 DAYS FOR THE TILE. AFTER THE WORK HAD STARTED, THEY RAN OUT OF TILE. THE SALESMAN CHANGED HIS STORY AND TOLD US THE TILE HAD BEEN DISCONTINUED. THEY GAVE ME THE RUNAROUND AND KEPT CHANGING THEIR STORY, AND I ALWAYS HAD TO CALL THEM TO FIND OUT ANYTHING. FINALLY THEY LOCATED THE LAST 2 BOXES OF THE TILE AND THE CONTRACTOR FINISHED INSTALLATION. THE BOSS LATER BROUGHT THRESHHOLD STRIPS, BUT THEY DIDN'T WORK. HE INSTALLED ONE AND WE LATER HAD TO REPLACE IT. A POPPING NOISE STARTED AFTER THE FLOOR SETTLED WHICH NOW NEEDS REPAIRED. HAVING TO GO THROUGH THIS POOR EXPERIENCE, I AM REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH PAYING THE $1000 WHICH WAS NOT IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, ESPECIALLY AFTER THE SALESMAN CHARGED THE BALANCE TO MY CREDIT CARD BEFORE THE JOB WAS COMPLETE.
