The installer was not punctual and there was lack of communication between the customer service center, us, management, and the installer. The installer was professional and did quality work, the product is decent, and the price was right, so we would use them again.

I would use them in the future. They did the work as expected.

Ordered and paid for a 90 minute fire rated, 6 panel, left-hand outswing entry door in October 2013. Door arrived in mid November and instillation was schedule for two weeks out. On the day of the scheduled instillation, within the window of arrival, Home Depot called me to inform me they received the wrong door and could not come install it. How come nobody checked to see if it was the correct door before? It was sitting in their store for two weeks waiting to be installed! Received a call the next day from a Home Depot associate saying that they called the door manufacturer and the manufacturer said it would be ok to install the door backwards and then it would be fine. Are you kidding me? It has a threshold and cannot be installed backwards or it won't work. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager called the manufacturer and was told the same thing. The manager said they would order another left-hand outswing door from another company and cover the difference in cost and I would receive a phone call when it arrived to schedule installation. Two weeks later installation was scheduled again. The installation crew did a great job and the issue was eventually resolved by my door was not installed until JANUARY and I purchased it in October.

Pretty well; it was excruciating plodding through the details but in the end we love our new kitchen.

Their prices are comparable to a lot of other people. They have a variety of different products. Their customer service is fair.

The delivery was great, the salesperson was great. We searched all the appliance stores and we ended up going with Home Depot. They came and installed it for us. The delivery service was great. This particular salesman had been there 10 years, he knew his appliances and it was a very refreshing experience. I didn't even think I'd buy from Home Depot and we ended up buying from Home Depot. It was installed on Valentine's day and the guys were very nice. This experience was great. We don't always go to this Home Depot. This experience was wonderful.
The price was very competitive. They were very willing to beat everyone's price. I think they were very reasonable.

It is conveniently located. They are price-competitive, and they generally stand behind their products.

I paid $5000 in total, out of which I paid $2000 for labors. They did entryway doors, and two sliding glass doors. As far as the store itself, there was nothing really great about it. They were fine or okay. The labors were very good. They did a good follow-up. Recently, one of the doors was pulling over rough, so I called them up. They came out and took care of it. When they did one of my doors, the siding of it wasn't exactly right; so they seemed to spend some extra time to make sure that they build out the entryway itself, which wasn't part of the deal. They did it because it would look better, and would feel better, if they did that. My opinion is that they went above and beyond what was expected from them.

They did an excellent job. When I had another company quote the job, I was told that if there was any wood rot it would be extra, but Home Depot did not charge extra for repairing any damaged wood. They also offer a double life time warranty.

With each visit to the Expo store, we've received helpful and attentive service. Some items had to be special ordered; when one failed to be delivered, a quick phone call rectified the situation, and we had it within a week.

Home Depot uses outside contractors to install the doors, so you never know who you are getting. In my case, the installer took 5 hours to install 3 screen doors. He did an adequate job, neither bad nor great. He made a mess though, and I'm still finding aluminum shards near my doors. I found one of them by cutting my finger on it! One of the doors had a damaged header. The installer told me they would order a new one and have it delivered in one week. More than two weeks later I still don't have it. Home Depot makes you pay for the doors and installation in full and in advance. My credit card bill was due before they did the installation, so I had to pay it. Now, I have no financial recourse on the damaged header because they already have my money. I bought through Home Depot because doors and installation were on sale, but I knew I was rolling the dice on the installation. Next time, I would use someone else.

The whole process overall was very slow. It took 2 or 3 days for the subcontractor (Marble Emporium, Northbrook) to contact me just to set up a date to template. They couldn't template until a week later. I didn't get a final quote from Home Depot until a week after that. The receptionist/s at the Marble Emporium were rude and not helpful at all. Maria was nice enough, but the day after they measured she went on vacation for a long weekend. She assured me that one of her colleagues would take care of the quote, but each time I called, these 'other colleagues' had no idea what I was talking about and told me to call when Maria was back on Wednesday. The final price I got was $800 MORE than the initial estimate, and there is no good reason for that. My counters would have cost me $75 a square foot, and that is absolutely ridiculous. I had the same counters installed by someone else for $1100 less!

HOME DEPOT HAS A GOOD SELECTION OF QUALITY DOORS AT GOOD PRICES. ALSO, I BOUGHT A VERY NICE LOCK THAT WAS KEYED TO MY EXISTING HOUSE KEY FOR ONLY $5.00 PER LOCK. THE INSTALLERS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GREAT JOB. I'VE USED HOME DEPOT FOR ALL KINDS OF PROJECTS, LARGE AND SMALL AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE A GOOD JOB. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM, THEY TAKE CARE OF IT UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED. AS AN ADDED BONUS, THEY USUALLY OFFER SOME SORT OF 0%, 0 PAYMENT FINANCING FOR 6 OR 12 MONTHS.

THE HOME DEPOT RETURNED MY CALLS AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE WORK DONE. THEY SPENT TIME WITH US PICKING OUT THE RIGHT TILE. THEY DID A GREAT JOB THE ENTRY WAY LOOKS WONDERFUL.
