It was amazing to watch him work. When he first walked into the kitchen, he noticed that I had some new door locks (still packaged) on the table and asked if I would like them installed. Of course I said yes. Have you ever tried to read the instructions that come with those things?!
So he raised the cabinet, replaced the door locks (with dead bolts for both) and asked "What else can I fix?" I noticed a gouge in wall in the kitchen and asked if he could fix it. He swiftly went to his van, got some materials, and fixed it within 30 seconds!
Then again, he said "What else can I fix?" I asked if he could touch up the wall where the cabinet was raised. Again, quick as a wink, he went to the van and came back with a paintbrush. (The previous owner had left some paint.) So now the area around the cabinet looks perfect! Then he checked around the kitchen and touched up other walls that needed it.
Then he said those magic words again "What else can I fix?" Awesome. Now I felt like I had to test him to see if there was something he couldn't do. So I told him the lock on the sliding glass door wasn't working. He took a look, went to the van, came back with some tools and less than a minute later...the lock was working again!
During all this, I was having the carpets cleaned too. The cleaners had hooked up their hose to the spigot in the garage and Angelo noticed it was leaking and told me he could fix it too. Wow.
Overall, I am beyond happy with Angelo. I've already started a list (which he cleverly provides on the back of his business card) for the next time I call him.
