Big mistake using this contractor . He provided a quote requesting 50% payment upfront, with the balance upon completion. As the project progressed, Casey continued to request additional funds, which were provided. This happened more than once, and the more money he received, the less frequently he/his crew showed up to complete the project. There were paint drippings in many places, and paint marks were visible on areas that were not intended to be painted. One of Casey subcontractors completed another project installation, and within two weeks, the imperfections in his work became apparent. When approached about this, Casey stated that the subcontractor had left the country for an unknown period of time. Casey was fired without completing the job, and he did not offer even a partial refund of the money paid to him. Bottom line: There are many good contractors out there, please do your research and find one other than Casey Armstrong and his Black Ops Painting

I regret ever hiring this so-called 'painter.' As someone new to hiring handymen, I made the mistake of ignoring the bad reviews and believing his excuses?biggest mistake ever. He overcharged, overpromised, and underdelivered in every way possible. No receipts for materials, a supposed ?electrician? who mysteriously left no trace, and worst of all, the debris he claimed to have trashed was later found stuffed in my garage storage. This man is a complete fraud and a liar. I paid $5,000 for a disaster and had to rehire someone else to fix his mess for a fraction of the cost. As usual, he will come here and spew more lies for a defense. If you value your money and sanity, steer clear!

Casey was the worst experience i ever had. I paid him 23,000 and was a waste. He did not finish and i had to have everything repainted. He did not prep walls, put tape down. Most unprofessional job ever done ,he is a CROOK. It cost me another 20k just to fix what he did.. He was supposed to spray the cabinets, he hand painted them....

Casey did not finish the job. He told me to hire someone else to finish and keep the balance of what I owed him to pay the new contractor. However, the balance was a few hundred dollars and what I paid to have the job finished and correct the work Casey did cost a lot more. He trashed my carpet with dirty shoes, used a lot of my own material/tools without asking, did not show up as agreed, work was NOT acceptable. Stay away.

"I believe there?s two sides to every story she?s not telling how much money was left over and what it cost to fix it very deceptive on her part we never use other people?s material unless they request us to use it because they had it left over and wanted to save money and I have my own tools I never use customers tools and that?s all I have to say I can?t please everybody it?s been a hard yearbut that?s the truth and we always use boot covers while working in the house and sometimes there are mistakes and there is paint drops we always clean it up if that?s the case because we use water base paint no oil"

BEWARE if you are looking to hire Casey Armstrong. We hired Casey and crew to paint the interior of our home and replace lights and mirrors in the bathrooms. We were told the job would take about a week so we moved forward and the job was started about 3 weeks ago and is still not finished. There are several places that need to be touched up. Our bathroom is left unfinished with a hole in the wall. We have paint stains on the carpet. No boot covers were used while walking on the carpet. The customer service is horrible. Casey was scheduled to show this morning at 0700 to do a walk through and complete the repairs but we got a text saying he had a dead battery and could not make it. A dead battery? What about one of his crew? We immediately told him his services were no longer needed. He claims to have 30 years experience but from the way our house looks he has nowhere near that. Do not hire Casey Armstrong! Thanks!

Casey's ideas for the project were good and he used recycled items where possible. Beyond that, we were not pleased with the workmanship (poor finishing). He gave many end dates for the project which were never met (lots of excuses). We finally fired him.

"Would like to leave a comment on this review the woman leaving a review lives out of state and I worked with her mother her mother and I had a great time together and a good working environment she came in twice to check on things didn't like the timeframe it took to do it although her mother and I worked out our own schedule for me to work certain days and other days because I had other jobs scheduled I believe I deserve a better reviews than that"

Casey is a Pro! We had a very long list of projects to get our home ready to sell. Everything from painting to minor plumbing, minor electrical, and all the little details, (i.e, installing new pull chains in all the closets, new toilet seats, and the like). He also replaced our sump pump in the basement at a quite reasonable cost. Casey spruced up the garage inside and out. He looked at our concrete patio, and suggested repairing and staining it, an economical solution. We threw Casey some ���curve balls��� along at the way. First, we told him we were not in big hurry to get the project done until late summer. Then about two weeks into the project, we asked him to do to the project and be done in a shorter timeframe. Casey was very accommodating to our schedule and did his best to work around our needs. Casey���s flexible and will work with your budget. His pricing is reasonable. He knows almost everyone. For example, we purchased our new carpeting through Summer���s Carpeting in Mundelein at a savings. Ask for Lonnie, if you are interested. Bottom line: Casey has a great attitude and will work with you to make you happy.

Came in and banged out the tile repair and I ended up hiring him for another 3 or 4 (probably more) projects I was working on.
