Tim and Rod Moseley are very good people. I trusted them to begin remodeling our condo, even when we weren't able to be in town. They were highly recommended to us by others so we went with them. The C rating is because the prices are very high, some of the people that do the work are not that good and because oftentimes, their people were late getting to our place or it took a REALLY long time for them to complete a task. For example, they would tell us that they would get here by 8 in the morning but then actually came an hour and a half later! This happened several times and they explained it was because they were working on another job but consequently, the whole project took much longer to finish than first estimated (almost 4 months later). There were times that I had to talk to Rod Moseley (one of the owners) about the poor work that had been done - from laying down tiles on our kitchen to caulking to uneven backsplash tiling. To his credit, he did have them redo so it was done properly but that was time lost for me. You need to constantly supervise and make sure their work is done well. All in all, I probably wouldn't use them again.

Their prices were a bit high, but the quality of materials and workmanship was definitely worth it. I did not have to worry about lining up different people to handle different aspects of the project. Rod coordinated everything and also checked in every day to make sure everything was on schedule and running smoothly. Moseley uses professionals rather than jacks-of-all-trades--electricity is handled by electricians, plumbing by plumbers, etc. The workers who did the reconstruction were outstanding--very precise, very clean and very pleasant. Even months later when we had a problem, workers came out almost immediately to rectify the situation. Moseley Bros. do very good work. I highly recommend them.

They did a great job. They showed up when they said they were going to. They did the work very nicely and cleaned up afterwards. They did an excellent job altogether. We thought the estimate was fair. We thought the price was very fair. I would use their services in the future if needed.

Moseley Bros. was recommended to us by a home inspector. They gave a fair estimate for the work, provided in depth analysis of the cause of the problems that we were having, and then made the repairs according to the established schedule. I appreciated that they started with the least expensive, least invasive solutions first, to see if we could address the problems in that way, before jumping to higher ticket fixes. We spent a lot of time with Rod during our basement repair process because the least expensive, least invasive solutions didn't work right away, but he had patience and persistence with his plan for repair, and ultimately he was able to fix the problem. Rod and Tim Moseley and all of the sub-contractors that we met were professional, on-time, friendly, considerate of our time, and cleaned up the projects at the end. Overall, I can highly recommend this company for home repair needs. They know what they are doing, and have a competent group of people that they work with. I will absolutely call them again if we have further needs for home repairs.

We wanted to go with someone new because of the problem with the original job. The owner(Rod) seemed to be a good fit for us. He told us what we wanted to hear. The first team he sent in to do the job were terrible - the whole site had to be torn out and done again by yet another team which did considerably better. The job is still not up to the quality of the original contract work. We are dealing with major drywall separating from the ceiling after 2 months and nail pops. We just wanted a quality job. When we complained about the inferior work, he insinuated that we were being too picky.

At the time the estimate was accepted, Rod Moseley was told we required supplier and subcontractor lien waivers before we would pay the final amount. He agreed saying he always provided lien waivers. Once the work was finished(and there was nothing that could be done about the paint once it was on instead of the stain we had agreed on)he brought me a single lien waiver signed by him. I explained once again that I needed lien waivers from the suppliers and his subcontractors. He said he'd been in business over 12 years and no one had requested that before. I told him we had discussed it when the estimate was signed. He said he didn't know what I was talking about-lien waivers from suppliers and sub-contractors. I provided electronic copies of blank lien waivers for suppliers, him, and subcontractors. He told me his subcontractors had moved to Florida and he didn't know how to reach them, etc. He came to my door and came in and tried to intimidate me to pay him. I was frankly afraid of him. His parting shot was that he was going to talk to his attorney and make me pay him. Of course his attorney told him he had to provide the lien waivers. Naturally, the subcontractors signed their waiver so I guess he lied about them moving. He was very angry with our interactions after that and though he finally provided signed lien waivers and I finally paid him, his lack of knowledge about how contracting works and the legalities of providing proof of payment for supplies and subcontractors, or else his belief he could make me pay him without paying his bills was astounding.
