The service is generally good. Occasionally, there are some minor issues with something that did not clean quite right, but generally, we are happy with them. They could continue to be very attentive to details like in cleaning toilets.

I had Merry Maids out to my house to do a deep cleaning about 5 months
ago because I am trying to sell my house.  I was quoted a price and the
job was done, but not to my satisfaction.  I decided to let it go
because I no longer live in town and didn't want to deal with the
hassle.  It was passable.  I called back recently to get another
cleaning done.  I got a quote for the house and the windows on Monday.
 On Thursday I received a call with a MUCH higher quote.  I said that
was not what I was quoted on Monday.  After several phone calls the rep,
Calvin, tried to explain what the person I talked to Monday did wrong.
 I don't care.  I was given a quote and expected it to be honored.
 Calvin said they would not honor it.  I was done.
Since they neither cleaned to my satisfaction nor lived up to their word I will no longer use this service.

They were not professional. The quality of the cleaning changed every time with the new cleaners they sent. We asked for environmentally safe products, or to use ours was fine (with no discount), and often times the cleaners had no idea about that.

Spectacularly badly. They start with a and quot;thoroughand quot; clean, where they are supposed to clean every inch. Baseboards, fingerprints on switchplates, wiping down window sills, you name it. This and quot;thoroughand quot; clean, in our 2300 square foot house, took 2 people about 2 hours. It was no cleaner than a casual clean that my husband and I give it. We complained, they said they'd talk to the cleaners about it. This became a common theme.
The next time they came out, they sent ONE person, who was there for less than an hour an a half. Smudges on mirrors. Backsplash in kitchen unwiped. Spills on the floor. Sweeping underneath beds. Getting the picture? We called, complained. They said they'd talk to the cleaners.
Nothing ever got better. It got worse and worse each time. The final straw was, after we complained, the housecleaner left our house in a little over an hour, leaving two of three toilets untouched, kitchen cabinets with drips of food unwiped, smudges on mirrors... on and on. And a little note, saying and quot;The cat threw up on the living floor. I could not wipe it up.and quot; Presumably, because she was grossed out? I wiped it up with a paper towel, called Merry Maids, and cancelled the service.
We were paying about $125 per cleaning. Given how much time they spent, we were paying about $100/hour for one person. I kept telling Merry Maids that really, about $30/hour was reasonable, so I should get two people, working a solid, busy 2.5 hours. Their repeated answer was and quot;It takes as long as it takes.and quot; Also, that their employees SAID they were there longer.
In retrospect, many of my colleagues laughed when I told them about using Merry Maids. Apparently, they have quite a reputation around here. The fact that they have an and quot;Aand quot; rating on Angie's List, makes me suspicious of Angie's List.

I called Merry Maids several times and talked to Molly about a quote, then about scheduling a cleaning. She was super patient about the fact that I was trying to schedule a cleaning while not being in Champaign. Her crew did a fantastic job! They finished in an hour (and we were paying by the hour so the fact that they did the job quickly was awesome), the kitchen, bedroom, and bathrooms were spotless and my roommates and I couldn't be happier! We had asked them to clean our fridge and stove/oven and because they were pretty clean compared to what things usually look like, Merry Maids gave us a discount instead of full price. I will definitely use them again!

They come every week. Megan and Aimie come out and clean my home. They are the best. They are excellent with my mother who is ailing, and they are good to my cats,. They are efficient and are worth every cent.

They clean my house every time that they come out. They focus on one room more than the others each time that they come out. If they are going to be late, then they will call me to check with me.

I liked everything about their services. They really were very good. They worked efficiently and fast. They asked me to make sure that there wasn’t anything that they had missed. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They charge $100 a week. First time I used them was at the same time I had painting done in my old house in November of last year and they cleaned what is called as the move out cleaning and they did a very good job. So I hired them to do the weekly cleaning at the new house. They are doing a really good job. The two girls that come in the crew every week Magan and Amey are just very good and I request them to come every week. They are punctual and very courteous. It seems like they do a little bit extra.

I have been using their services for a while now. They charge me like $114. I am not all that happy with them. They used to be excellent. The two cleaners that I first had are no longer doing the work. There is a new group and I think the first pair was just exceptional. So, I don't know if the second pair is bad. They are just not quite as good. I have also never had anyone else. So, I don't really know how to judge them. Their punctuality is excellent. Their price is a little high, but I haven't compared it with the others. I am going to continue using them in the future.
