Great.they took Lucy right in.I am unable to do Lucy's nails. She cries and tries to get away and I'm a terrible chicken. I'm too afraid I'll hurt her.Lucy comes out  as happy as she went in.

Nothing stood out about their service. I have no idea about the prices; I haven’t done a lot of comparison pricing. Sometimes I have had to wait for a long time.

We had our new puppy spayed and given all her vaccinations as well as microchipped by this vet. Overall the experience was pleasant. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet tech to the vet herself were very courteous and knowledgeable about any questions we had. They were also very good about giving us estimates before we had anything done. The price wasn't too bad, not the cheapest, but they did a great job and our puppy got to come home the same day she had her procedure. This was nice for two reasons, one, she got to recover from the scary experience at home where she was comfortable, and two, there is no charge for an overnight stay.
We also bought heartworm medicine and Frontline from this vet. We looked around, even on PetMeds.com and her price is very competitive so we liked the convenience of getting it all at once.
One of the things I always worry about with vets, and have had this problem before, is you go in for something simple like a checkup, and then get a bill afterward with all kinds of additional charges on it from unnecessary procedures, $12 for nail clipping, $20 for ear cleaning, etc. These are things I do at home anyway, but some vets are a bit unscrupulous about doing these things when they take your cat or dog for and quot;weighingand quot; and then charge you for them. This is not the case here. She explained every shot she offered and even said there were some our puppy did not require. She seemed very upfront and honest about the things that she felt would benefit our specific puppy. Highly recommended.

They are very friendly and they greet you as you walk in the door. It's a bright, cheery, very clean place. I've dealt with two vets, Dr. Price and Dr. Kuchenbrod. I was very positively impressed. I got my dachshund from a shelter and I was told at that time she would need some dental work. I got it done at a different vet and at that time, they did not give me any pain medicine to take home for her and I didn't know that I would need it. The difference is that, at Good Friends, I went home with pain pills and a pain patch. They didn't cut any corners and they wanted to make sure that at her age and ndash; she's 8 and frac12; -- that she wasn't in any pain. Dental surgery can be iffy if they have to pull teeth. My other vet didn't give me as much pain medication after my dog's first dental surgery so maybe getting the medication bumped up the price. Good Friends saw that I didn't want my dog to be in pain. I don't know how to judge the price because I really don't know how much other vets charge. I just know that my dog is okay and that's all I can go by. Another thing I like is that the parking is so convenient. I walk with a cane and I have problems walking up and down. All I have to do is step down off the curb and I'm there. That's one of the pluses of going there. I am going to change over to this vet because it's easier on me. They have a lot of experience as vets; they have a track record and they haven't just been around for a year. I would give the whole place an A+++.

Between the vet (Dr. Price) and her assistant, they spent 1.5 hours answering my questions and giving recommendations about dog care. They explained the heartworm, flea, and tick preventative options very thoroughly. They discussed dental care. Dr. Price demonstrated how to clip toenails. I was VERY pleased with the attention my dog and I received. I was impressed when I received the test results from the blood sample during my visit, and the stool sample by email at 8:30 am the next morning. I also received information about how one goes about getting after-hours emergency care in the C-U area. I don't have any yardstick for price comparison, but the cost of the actual office visit (as opposed to the tests, medication, dental care supplies) was minimal.
