Contacted RDI for an estimate back in May of 2013 for replacement of a window located in our bathroom, in the shower stall.  Requested a non-opening, frosted/privacy window, specially insulated to not let in any drafts (since it's in the shower).  We don't know anything about windows so trusted the contractor to provide us with what we were asking for.  Never was it stated that they could not take care of the issue. Communication was poor.  They had to come measure several times.  Said they were going to order the window ASAP to lock in the price, we said it was OK to store in on the premises until install date (October).  The window was never ordered ahead of time.  When the installation day came and the window was delivered, it was a standard double pane opening window with no privacy frosting.  We were not pleased with this outcome but decided to go ahead with the install anyway because we were sick of dealing with this company and had another contractor coming in the next day to remodel the rest of our bathroom.  Talk about stuck between a rock and a hard place. 
The window is fine.  We were able to put up some frosted window-cling film.  We'll see how long that lasts with water beating on it all the time.  Overall, we were not very satisfied with this contractor in general, but the folks that came and did the install were courteous, efficient and did a fine job (it was not their fault the window was wrong).  Would not recommend this company because they were difficult to deal with and lacked good communication.
