We received Rob Christiansen's name (company owner) as a referral from our countertop installer for our tile floor and backsplash. It was a positive experience from moment one in every possible way. Rob responded to our inquiry immediately and was able to schedule a time to give us an estimate right away. He arrived on time for every scheduled appointment. He is very enthusiastic and positive about his work. He has over 12 years of experience with tile-setting and it shows. We had already laid the cement board for the floor, so he was able to lay the tile the first day - he laid the entire 180 sf floor in less than 3.5 hours. He worked with our backsplash tile design and gave valuable input on the type of tile we had chosen - we had to make one change based on his recommendation because one of the mosaic tiles we chose was too thin - it would have been too difficult to work with. The change was ideal and we ended up with a beautiful backsplash! He was very meticulous with laying the tile perfectly, and went outside to cut everything to minimize the dust. Those are the details that really make a difference.
Rob also never wasted any materials (we purchased everything ahead of time, based on what he needed) and we were able to return much of it because he took great pains to make sure he used up open packages and boxes first. We ended up saving a lot of money going with him.
 
Rob also does custom shower pans. We don't have a need for this service at this time, but we would hire him to do this in a heartbeat.
We have done a lot of work on our house and have dealt with many different contractors for various projects, and Rob is by far our favorite! We wholeheartedly encourage anyone to hire him for tile or shower pan work.
