They did a fantastic job. The driver was above and beyond.

United's agent from the local Skyline, Nick DiGulio came to the apartment on time and worked with us to lower the cost of his initial estimate in subsequent phone calls.  Detailed estimate sheets were provided, several times as the costs went down.  

He supplied us with boxes for speciality items.  He was readily available when we needed to speak with him.  The Skyline movers and packing team were in and out treating us and our belongings with great respect and care.  The United driver and the inventory taker took time to get to know my elderly mother who was making a move from Kankakee, Illinois to South Pasadena, California, along with Fuzzball the cat.  By the end of the pack out she felt she'd made friends.  They also made her feel very comfortable and secure about the move.

On the other side in South Pasadena, the truck was delayed by heavy Los Angeles morning traffic.  They called and said they were running late and gave an approximate time of arrival.  This was greatly appreciated.  They unloaded, no hitches, nothing missing, no damages.  Again they were very warm and friendly with my mother, who was happy to see the same people handling her belongings in California as in Illinois.  The driver held true to his promises of providing en route information.  I'm very glad the move is over.  There was so much to consider and so many details, but United/Skyline truly alleviated a great deal of potential angst and turned a possibly greatly stressed day into an near festive event.

First, a representative came over to look at the items and then gave us an estimate as to the cost. It was reasonable, so we scheduled a time and day for the move. The movers arrived right on time and moved quickly to get the items in the truck and then out of the truck at the other end. They were very good, and they took care not to damage anything.
