Speedy, knowledgeable, and got my unit up and running when another company had tried to sell me a whole new unit. No complaints whatever! Excellent pricing.

The technician was prompt and professional. He checked my air conditioning unit and discovered that it needed a new capacitor, In all I would say that it took maybe 20 to 25 minutes for the job to be completed. I would definitely use this company again.

Very friendly and professional

From the first time I called inquiring about a quote, I knew this company was different than the rest. I called 4 other places for a furnace and AC installation and Porterhouse was by far the best customer service. Shawn was very helpful in telling me what I needed for my house. Leroy, Mendel, Jamar, Michael Jackson, Devon came to my house and installed both the furnace and AC and did an amazing job in explaining everything they were going to do. Overall great job and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mike and Devonne were great; friendly, warm, and approachable. It was like I had known them a long time. Mike explained the problem immediately after reviewing the air conditioning unit. He replaced the part, added Freon, and were on their way within 30 minutes. Fast, affordable, friendly, and efficient service. The special touch I love about this company is that as soon as Mike walked in the door, he shook my hand and with the other hand, he gave me a little notebook, pen, and business cards, all with the company’s logo on them. This was a great first impression to give the customer a takeaway right up front. Great way to keep the company visible after they have left your house. I will recommend them to anyone.

The technician was good and very pleasant but didn't find the worst problem (Heat Exchanger) until after he had already replaced other parts.

Great company! Our technician, Mike, was amazing. He explained and had us check all work needed and that he did. Quite reasonable, especially since it was a Sunday afternoon. This was my first experience using Home Advisor and found my "go to" heating and cooling service.

Porterhouse Heating & A/C a very professional organization. I had quotes from three other companies to replace my furnace and /c unit because of a bad a/c core that leaked and ruined my furnace. Not only did Porterhouse provide me with the best quote but with a much better furnace/ac unit. One that Consumer Report magazine ranks as one of the very best. The team arrive on time and very clean ( they left dirty but what do you expect after working to remove the old unit and installing the new one). I will gladly refer this company to anyone in need of heating/ac service.

They were courteous and did a complete check of the cooling and heating system. Gave a complete rundown of problem and repair process. I'm sure it would have been easy to say the motor and not just the starter switch needed to be replaced that could have been 700 dollars difference in the bill. I'm so glad they were the ones available that day. Thank you!

I'm very frugal with my money So I called at least four different HVAC companies for estimates. The AC unit started blowing hot air around 2 am and it was approx 81 degrees outside at 2 AM! Although it was an emergency, like I said; I'm frugal! So I needed upfront estimates. Two companies wouldn't even tell me if my inspection fee would go towards the cost of repairs. Another company gave me an insane inspection fee twice the cost of Porterhouse. Sean was amazing! I called him for an emergency repair in the middle of the night and he explained, that if I waited just a couple more hours then he wouldn't have to charge me the emergency fee! To be honest, I've never heard of a company giving me hints on how to save a couple of dollars!!! Moving on, Sean arrived on time the next day and he explained everything in detail. He was professional and efficient! He provided options to choose from regarding repair and replacement! He provided upfront costs and precise details on what needed to be done in case I needed to go with another company. He even gave me time to weigh my options and didn't pressure me! So of course, I contacted other companies and asked them for quotes just to replace or repair the items needed. Most of the quotes were twice as much because those companies, "didn't do the inspection and needed to come out to verify what was needed." I had an inspector come out and he said the exact same thing as Sean but quotes an obnoxious amount due the size of my home. How RUDE! Quote me a fair price and Sean did just that! He was courteous and prompt! I had absolutely zero complaints with Sean...and that's rare!!

Shawn was quick to return calls and texts. He explained when he would be out and what to expect, and he was kept at the job until everything was running very smoothly. I am very happy with his work, and I would not hesitate to call him again.

They were there within thirty minutes. Explained everything to me. Showed me the prices for what I needed so that I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. They werer very professional and got the job done fast.

The blower on our furnace went out on the coldest day the winter to that date. Porterhouse's response was prompt to my inquiry. They quickly repaired our furnace without trying to create ways to run up the bill.

The furnace went out and my tenants need heat rather quickly so I was somewhat stuck in a hard place I had other people look at the furnace and they told me I needed an adjuster I called Mr Porter because he was on Home Advisor he showed up rather quickly he then sent his helper who went and priced a part of $400i I was desperate for it to get fixed 'I tell him to get it looks like he goes around the corner and comes back. He charges $600 .I tell mr. Porter that I could have gotten the part cheaper for about $200 he tells me that it wouldn't have its guarantee I and that's what they charge him for it.I could have gotten it but all I have to do is pay him up front .to me that sounds like he charging double for the parts and then 4 what you want to put it on. I don't think that's fair honesty is the best policy
