It was a pleasure working with Mark. They did an excellent job replacing the 4 x 6 beams and header on the front of the house. All work was completed in a timely manner with close attention to detail.

I am a snowbird and while I was gone, I had a flood in my condo (Nothing to do with the recent hurricanes). I needed to hire someone and completely trust the person since I was not in town. I had a recommendation for this company and it was the best decision ever! Mark tore out all of the wet carpeting and some ceramic tile and laid the vinyl planking in three bedrooms and the foyer. I was very apprehensive when I arrived back in town to see the work. However, I should not have been apprehensive at all because he did an incredible job. I expected to walk into a very dusty, dirty condo, but I am honestly honestly telling you it was cleaner than when I left! The flooring is absolutely perfect, All of the furniture was returned to their exact locations and it was spotless. I cannot recommend this company enough. 100% reliable and trustworthy. It is very rare to hire somebody and not have any issues at all. But that was the case with this company. Picture perfect experience.

Mark and Jerry were fantastic. Both of these gentlemen were friendly and professional. All the questions that I had we were answered and explained perfectly so we were all on the same page. The completed project turned out amazing. I had a custom floating mantel installed above my fireplace. As I have a stone wall, the mantel was built from scratch and carefully crafted to fit around the stone. The entire project was completed in half a day and I could not give the experience and workmanship any more praise.

As a General Superintendent, I work with many contractors for a living on very large construction projects. It's a pleasure to invite a truly professional craftsman into my home. Mark was great! I hired him to do a kitchen remodel which went fantastic. He suggested things that I never would have thought of and the final look was amazing. Mark can do just about anything - he stayed around to install light fixtures, did some other plumbing, installed a barn door. I don't think there is anything he can't handle. Price was more than fair! But most important with this kind of project is that the communication was great. You never had to wonder if he was going to show up or call me back. Very very considerate of my time. We renovated a new house that we were not living in and we just gave him a key and he came and went at his own pace. Mark @ Cornerstone Construction did a fantastic job! Of the three contractors that looked at my project, I felt like Mark really listened to me. He personally supervised the deck build and I'm very happy! Without hesitation I would use them again.

I literally had 9 bids in hand from big box, general contractors and local "mom and pop". I did not select the cheapest or most expensive, but went with what I considered the best choice from a skill, engineering and timeliness factor. Mark's a professional and knows his trade. He's efficient and practical. No mess, no fuss, and very respectful of my time and needs. Mark and his assistant (also Mark) were very professional. They gave a solid, upfront written quote and walked me through all the options, styles and strategy to ensure the construction was well beyond code and gave me the peace of mind I wanted. I had a great deal of concerns with the structure of my old, elevated deck, which was a 12x26 68 inches off the ground. A 24-year-old "monster". It was unstable from poor construction and design in the 90's and we were always afraid to use it. Mark addressed my concerns and when I explained them he ensured, for a very reasonable and slight increase in material cost he came out with a great structural design that will provide years of use and peace of mind. (6x6 posts, larger framing boards, etc) We had three and a half actual "construction" days across 10 calendar days, primarily because of very heavy rains during the middle days. 1 day for complete demo and haul away, and ledger board attachment, another for digging holes and framing and finishing work. Mark accommodated my desire to change the rails height for a reasonable price. Once I saw the standard rail height, visually, I elected to make them taller to ensure my two large dogs did not try to scale or jump over. I wish I could attach before and after photos, you'd be impressed just at the sight of the project.
