Lectroglaz was one of the first to enter the refinishing business and thru the years has continued to offer quality, expertise, and value to its customers. and now it looks brand new. Friends do not believe that this is my original tub. The drain area was quite damaged and he was
able to repair that area. He suggested that I put in a small area of non-slip surface so that the tub would be safe for shower
users which was a very good suggestion. He sealed the bathroom off. There were minimal fumes which were pulled out with
a fan. He was very good at communicating any instructions and gave me a written sheet on caring for the tub. It was an absolute
pleasure working with this company.
Before the scheduled appointment I was told what to remove from the bathroom and what to expect. The glazer came on time and again explained totally what he was going to do and he suggested that instead of using an plastic bath mat he could put a non slip permanent bottom in tube for me as I am a senior citizen and I loved that idea. After the work was completed he again explained all the detail on care of the tub and how long to wait until the tub could be used. The tub could not be re-caulked because the paint was wet and needed 48 hours to dry. He explained what type of caulk to purchase and if I had a problem caulking he would come back and help, but it was easy to re-caulk the tub. He also explained what of types of cleaning products not to use and even told me what his wife liked best. He cleaned up after himself and when he was gone you would never have known that the tub had been sprayed (except of the odor) which was not that bad and was gone by next day. It was a pleasant surprise to see how great the tub looks white. This was better than having my house torn up with removal of a tub and the replacement of a new one.
Now, almost a year later, our bathtub looks as beautiful as the day it was finished. I am really happy with the work and would recommend it to anyone who wants to update the look of their bathroom without ripping out a old tub and installing a new one. Cleaning it is a breeze. Go ahead, give Lectroglaz a chance,it was well worth the money!
