Early last fall we contracted with the salesman, Cliff Spilky to have an ad for our company put on to 2 marquis boards in health clubs in McHenry County. We were told we would be the only education based business on the board. The ad that we purchased in Lake in the Hills was the one we had all the problems with. When the board finally went up, we went to see our ad and it wasn't there. They put the ad for another education based franchise instead. So, we called the salesman and he told us we'd have to talk with the business owner. This started around Thanksgiving. The owner told us that yes, they do sell exclusivity and that he would give us our money back because they did not put our ad up there. So, we waited and kept trying to contact him. It took until almost 2 weeks ago to finally get all of our money back for that part of the project. Mr. Perkins was unresponsive until we threatened to take him to small claims court and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
