After years of rodding the sewer line (1950's ranch) every other year the line was finally overcome with tree roots. Requested quotes from local plumbers and was referred to Brendan Clarke by Allan E. Powers Plumbing. Come to find out most plumbers have to hire a trenching service for this work anyway because of equipment requirements. This is not plumbers work outside the house! When hiring Mr. Clarke we had agreed on a date because I didnt think I had an emergency until a couple days later. Really bad clog in the line that did not recede at all. Pushed by wife to call Mr. Clarke and "timing is everything" and he was in the midst of setting up for another job nearby in Countryside. Our job became an emergency and he expedited "JULIE" immediately and was at our home in an hour and opened the line from the house to restore some semblance of household sanitation. The very next day the sewer line was installed and was totally bedded with stone, inspected and closed by the next day. Very straight forward experience from start to finish. If you need to do this do not forget to put landscaping funds in the budget. Cutting a trench this long can be a bit messy.
Description of Work: Replace 6" clay tile sewer line from the house 4" cast iron to street sewer wye with new gasketed 6" PVC piping (sdr26). Approximately 70 lineal feet of piping installed with new 6" cleanout.
