Overall it was good. The inspector was early and already at work when we arrived. The inspection took 2.5 to 3 hours and felt pretty comprehensive. He took the time to explain the things he found as issues or potential issues. There was a crack in the foundation on the outside, so he made sure to investigate further to see if this really was an issue. It was a pretty new house, so in general there weren't a ton of issues, but I felt good that the house was well inspected. Also, when we had a couple follow-up questions afterwards, he was responsive. In terms of giving them a "B" for price and quality - I need to be pretty blown away to give anyone an A, but I thought the work was good and inline with my expectations or standards for an inspection. I would feel comfortable using them again and recommend them to others.
Description of Work: We had CIA come in and perform a full house inspection for roughly a 3000 sq ft single detached home in Chicago. He inspected all of the rooms, the appliances, the outside, the garage, decks, etc.
