They were awesome! They came out so quickly. They fixed holes in my roof and gave me such a fair price. I called him on a Wednesday, and they came out the next morning. It was an emergency, and he was so nice to come out soon, because they don't do emergencies. I was so pleased!!!

I called, they came out and Bill called me the next day with an estimate.  He was prompt and courteous.  The crew came the next day and fixed the shingles.  They matched it great - can't even tell where they fixed it.  They also threw down a bunch of tennis balls that were in my gutters!  Great company to work with.  I will definitely use them in the future for my roofing needs.  Thanks!

They are very professional, reasonably priced, arrived and completed the project as scheduled, and cleaned up after themselves.  They even threw in putting shingles on the wooden playhouse we have in the backyard for free :)  Roof looks great!  Highly recommended.

Replaces a few shingles.

Very professional.  Arrived on time and put a new layer of shingles and venting on my roof.  They asked what color I wanted the vents and then took the extra step to paint my existing venting the same color so that everything matches.  I would recommend and do business with again.

With a large crew, the demolition phase went quickly and thoroughly.  The site was cleaned of all debris.
When the older plywood underlayment was reached, a large section was discovered to be rotted.  Bill, the project supervisor, notified us of the problem, and brought my husband up rooftop to verify the problem.  We agreed to add new plywood to the project.  We agreed to a reasonable up-charge on this, though it was not inexpensive.  Materials arrived fairly promptly.  Other parts of the project commenced meanwhile.
This new phase, not in the original bid, added time to the project, pushing it into the next day.  The owner came to determine whether the pace of the job was warranted, and his team showed that the project was more complex than originally thought.  The crew worked diligently, and Bill was actively involved meanwhile in locating vent areas in the attic, as well as closing up older openings no longer needed.
The completed roof looked great.  It held during heaving rains that followed installation, heavy snows this spring, and a couple of periods of extended high winds.
I have recommended Byrne-Johnson to my aunt, who will have a new roof installed spring 2013.

Since I was at work and unable to be here the job foreman always arrived early, before I left for work, to see if I had any questions or concerns and to go over what they would be doing that day. They were very professional, maintained a clean work site, and left me with no big mess to clean up. They told be the job would take at least 4 days, and it took 4 1/2 due to weather. Overall I was happy with the work provided and would recommend them.

They were efficient and charged a reasonable price.

This roofer is done for the year but he was able to come out and take a look at my roof and patch the worst part at no charge. He said that it should hold for the winter and in the spring he would be able to fix it. He was wonderful and I wish he could have done more.

Signed the contract the end of May but didn't complete the work till August.  We had a very rainy and then a extremely hot summer.  I had a leak that they came quickly to repair 2 times before starting the work. The work took 2 days to complete because 2 old roofs needed to be removed.  A long time was spent on redesigning the trouble leak spot and so far so good.  I am very satisfied with the work and the clean up.

was quoted at $650.00 but as the worked progressed found more rotted wood then first thought as the shingles came off. The worker informed me as i climbed an inspected. He was honest about it and said he would call his boss for new pricing. They were still much cheaper then others we got estimates from. Work was excellent. Workers very polite and cleaned up spotless. Another bonus is they have their own truck to haul out the garbage. This was an easy a+

I was looking to have a new shingles installed on my roof of 15 years and went onto Angie's list to find contractors in the area with A ratings. I found BYRNE-JOHNSON ROOFING INC which was about 1/2 mile from my home. They were out within a day or 2 to evaluate the roof which they wound up doing without anyone at home, which was nice since we didn't have worry about schedules. Bill Byrne did the evlauation and left samples at the front door with a note that he would have a quote back to us in 2 days, which he did. I had wanted to replace the shingles with the same that the builder of the house used, thinking it didn't make a difference. Bill came back with a quote for the standard shingle as well as a Architectural shingle. He discussed the advantages of the Architectural verses the standard, and with the price difference being so small I went with it. They came to the house at 7:00 AM and were finished by 2:00 PM including clean up. I was there for the entire time and all I spoke with during the install were courteous. I am sure glad that I went with the Architectural shingles as the look of the whole house has improved. I am sure this will make a difference when we decide to sell the house. I did have 1 other quote from a large comapany that advertises on the radio and was listed on Angies list with an A rating. They did a nice job coming out to do the quote and were very professional, but their price was higher for the standard shingle than what I paid for the upgraded Architectural shingle. I would highly recommend BYRNE-JOHNSON ROOFING INC for any type of roofing work needed.

Great. i wish I hired them to do my roof replacement years ago. I called at 12:00PM and they had Bill C. come out to install the vent within the hour. Job was done quickly, cleanly, and professionally.

Mark Byrne returned my call promptly and was very easy to deal with both on the phone and in person. He came by to look at the job and I received my quote within 3 days. I particularly appreciated the fact that Mark did not try to oversell me on what my job needed. He told me what needed to be done and what didn't. In a tight economy, that's terrific, professional service. The crew showed up within a week and completed all of the work in one day. They were professional and easy to work with. I am very satisifed with the job they did.
