CYDE EntErprises

The following is the sequence of events for how this project went. My husband and I are very upset with how we, and our home, were treated.
Two men came out about a week after the initial consult. There was neither explanation of what the problem was nor how they would fix it. We received a bill in the mail and we paid promptly. The bill listed the job as an application of sealant. We shrug off the annoyance of lack of communication and thought all was well anyway.
About a week after "the fix", Taylorville received heavy rainfall. I happened to be home and began hearing a strange clicking noise. I was a little baffled at first, so I began moving through the house to locate the sound. I walked into the bathroom and saw water LEAKING out of the stained area! We did NOT have leaking issues before CYDE Enterprises came to "fix" our problem! In addition to this area of leaking, an additional area began leaking as well. There had been no staining in this additional area previously.
I immediately called CYDE Enterprises to let them know of this terrible problem. The receptionist said there was nothing they could do at the moment because it was raining, and that the manager/boss was out of the office currently. The receptionist also said that she would have the boss call me back when he returned.
Four days passed and we did not receive any phone call nor any person from the company stopping by to check on the (now larger) problem. So, I called the company back and received the same receptionist. As I began explaining the problems, she recognized who I was. She followed up by saying, "We have not forgotten about you. We had some guys come out this morning and check things out." However, my husband and I had no evidence of anyone having been at our home. I again asked to speak to the manager/boss, but was not given the opportunity despite this request.
It has been about 8 more days, and we still have not heard anything from this company. I am unsure if they did indeed come back and "re-fix" the issue or not as we have not received any phone calls, mail correspondence, letters, notes, or physical evidence that they did come back. I guess my husband and I will find out if our ceiling leaks when the area receives heavy rainfall again. I am completely dissatisfied with this service and would not recommend this company to anyone else.
