Bob, the owner, was a great listener and made sure that he understood my problem before proposing a solution. He has the latest technology and could clearly identify where I was losing heat and knew exactly what needed to be done to resolve my issues. He wanted me to look in the attic so that I could observe that the work was done as he committed. He was very conscious about prepping my home, my carpet and protecting his work areas so that no dirt came into my house while he was bringing his equipment in and out. He was also a very good communicator and did the work in a timely manner.

It didn't. Bob texted the day before he was scheduled to come out to say he had a bit of an emergency and wouldn't be able to come out. He rescheduled for 1 week later. When that day arrived, he did not show up. He also did not call or text to say he wouldn't be coming. I called his phone about 40 minutes after he was due to arrive and left him a message but heard nothing. I sent him a text later that night, and I still have not heard back from him almost 2 weeks later. Rating is based on poor communication since no services were performed.

Bob was great. Explained everything and was honest about what was necessary and not necessary, and did the work himself. Half the price of similar estimates and delivered exactly as expected.

My Attic had next to no insulation. Bob answered all my questions and more. He is very knowledgeable. Now my attic is in excellent shape. If I ever need insulation help again he will be the first person I contact.

Excellent job

My attic had almost no insulation. North Shore Insulation was very professional. The job was explained in detail so I knew exactly what to expect. It was a little more than I first thought it would be but the extra cost was incurred because my attic was larger than normal. Plus, they installed my new attic fan, something the electrician never returned to do. They did a great job, left no mess, and my electric and gas bills have dropped. I would definitely hire them again.

What can I say here that the other reviews haven't said already? Bob is total pro! I had dealt with another company prior and while nice came across kind of salesy. Bob was very genuine from start to finish. Never tried to sell me anything! Honest hard working guy! I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Robert came when it was convenient for OUR schedule, and not only did he do what he promised with the insulation, but he helped us remove several items from the attic that we couldn't get down by ourselves. He was conscientious, personable, clean and quick. We were very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend him.

Bob reached out to me when I sent out a request on Angie’s list. He came by for a quote and was the most affordable of the three people I asked. So I went with him. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and explained and showed me the work along the way. Afterward our upstairs is a lot better and not stuffy. I highly recommend this company!
