I called Breezy's for a service call because we had no heat. Breezy's had a pretty good rating on Angies List. Ron Briese is the owner. I also asked for an estimate to replace our current HVAC system. Our home was built in the late 1990s with a contractor grade HVAC which was beginning to fail. Ron Briese came over with a service technician and provided the estimate. Our furnace was beginning to show it's age and the power vent on our hot water heater was running constantly instead of on demand. Ron Briese recognized the installation as one of his own from when he worked for another HVAC company.
Briese and I discussed a number of furnaces and AC options. Comed and Nicor were currently running a rebate program for replacement units. Briese stated that his pricing would net out the rebates and that Breezy's would submit the paperwork. I had researched the rebates and ended up choosing a Rheem single stage 92 AFUE furnace with a 14.5 SEER central AC. The pricing was competitive. We discussed the hot water heater. I was surprised at the cost of power vent units (we did not have a chimney for venting). I did some research at Lowes and Menards on pricing with install and Briese was close enough. Briese repaired the furnace so that we would have heat until the install which took place about 4 days later. No charge for the repair.
The install went very smoothly. Bries himself worked on it with his technician, Steve. They were fast, thorough and clean, altogether very professional. The hot water heater developed some problems a few days later and Briese, after some discussion, replaced the unit. Replacement went very smoothly and we appreciated that Briese stood by his work. The HW water heater may have been faulty.
All in all, we were very happy with Briese. I gave them a "B" on pricing because I rarely give anyone an "A". I recommend Breezy's for all your HVAC needs.

Excellent. Happy I went with Breezy's. I had 4 estimates. Breezy's was not the lowest but very competitive. I went with Breezy's because of their reputation. Came in and did a very professional job. Owner did most of the work. Small shop. Had heat in one day. Finished up the next day. Worked hard to ensure I received appropriate rebates from Nicor. Very satisfied customer.

He is very friendly, professional, and quick. He shows up on time. We had an issue with our heating and he come out the same day and fixed the issue.

They were very professional and very friendly. Ron Breeze was professional in that he calculated and gave me a complete rating of my house using all the windows and room sizes to do the calculation. He gave an estimate of the base work to be done with a list of all the options available, each with it's price to add.
They were the lowest of three estimates we received by around $2000!
The added duct work was installed in a way that minimized the work required and therefore the price. The other bids had a significant cost increase mostly due to cost of doing this duct work in a different way.
They put down canvas on all floors and stairs where they will be carrying and working.
There was a single issue with obsolete duct work left uncapped. A simple call and they came and finished the work that day.

They come to my home every six months for maintenance on the air conditioning and heating unit. They are a good company with a quick response. They know what they are doing and have gone above and beyond. They are very prompt if not early for appointments. I have a service contract with them. I have been using them for 6 years and will continue to use them.
