Independently owned and operated Gift & Garden Shop and Professional Landscaping Service. Our Landscaping Department offers thoughtful landscape design tailored to your individual needs through a multi-seasonal plan of trees, shrubs, perennials, seasonal annuals and hardscaping materials. We believe in selecting the right plant for the right place, creating long-lasting and low-maintenance gardens. Using natural stone and brick, we build sustainable patios and walls with an artisan quality workmanship. Our Gift & Garden Shop is a garden oasis nestled outside the bustle of the suburbs in downtown Sycamore. The shops are full of curiosities and gifts, garden decor, house plants and birding supplies. Our wide selection of perennials, annuals, trees and shrubs are carefully chosen by staff garden enthusiasts. Creative events and workshops are offered all year around. The "Garden Room" is available for rent and has become a popular spot for weddings & receptions.

This is a small town business with small town mentality. They have a beautiful facility for weddings. Wonderful ambiance to walk through the place. I was expecting to be amazed but far from it. Landscape designer is inexperienced and unprofessional. Owners are used to informal agreements with old timer locals. Many of the plantings died right away with reluctance to replace them. Killed a healthy new maple tree planted by someone else last fall. Bad things just kept happening. Hit me with a whopper of a bill well beyond the "ceiling" estimate. Trying to rectify was horrific. Good old boy owner and his mean and snarky unprofessional wife that aren't used to being questioned about anything or having to follow established business protocols like updated estimates. I am having to rehire another landscaper to fix things as I cannot deal with them any longer. The amount of my valuable time they have wasted I will never get back. FYI I am meticulous about my yard and have babied these plantings like children to no avail.

They charged me $200 for mulching and they are very good. They were punctual and they did what they said they were going to do. They also finished on time and I would use them again in the future.
