I am not happy with the service. They came and done the inspection but what they had done was a little bit higher than what I can do myself. But I want more of an inspection. They only checked the battery on the pump. The price was ok. I would not use them again for an inspection.

"Our inspections are for checking how well your sump pump and battery back up systems are working. Upon inspection of your primary sump pump we found it broken and not in working order, when they are broken we can not inspect how well it is pumping because it's not pumping at all. Your battery back up system was found to be in poor shape but working order. We apologize for any misunderstanding and would like to speak with you further should you have more questions."

Paul was very polite and timely. He answered all of my questions and explained how sump pumps and ejector pumps work. I would definitely call him if I had any plumping issues in the future.

The process went very well. After Paul did some initial investigation he determined that the leak was within the first floor ceiling. He quoted the rate for the search and was very helpful with all of my questions. The search required a cut to happen in the ceiling and his first instinct on where to cut was exactly where the leak was. I think Paul's experience allowed him to find the leak in the first attempt with very little damage to the ceiling.

Paul Martinez from Balanced Plumbing came on recommendation to me from a friend who had a wonderful experience with a sump pump installation performed by him. I had noticed some rust on the bottom of my water heaters and felt it was time to install new ones. We have 2 60 gallon gas heaters, and since the basement was finished after the heaters were installed, whoever did it left no room to pull the heaters out. The gas pipes, water pipes, etc. formed a cage in front of the heaters and needed to be cut. It was quite a job.
Paul came to do an estimate for me on Monday, and we had a time slot scheduled for Wednesday at 9am. Paul arrived on time, inspected the situation, and answered all of my questions. His demeanor is wonderful. He is extremely polite, and presented me with a quote for service. He ended up being much less expensive than a big named competitor in the area that had also quoted the job, so the cost factor plus my comfort with Paul made the decision easy.
Paul promised he would arrive at 9am on Wednesday, and that the equipment would arrive before that. Both Paul and the equipment arrived early (wonderful). Paul took great care during the removal of the old units not to damage my walls, staircase etc. and also wore foot coverings for the carpets as well (this may not matter to some, but it certainly does to my wife).
The installation went smooth as silk. The new heaters work perfectly...there are no visible leaks, and the added ball valves (should their use become necessary) are wonderful. Paul cleaned up everything so well, that looking at it now, you'd have no idea I had a contractor over for anything.
The heaters come with the standard manufacturer's warranty, of course, but in addition, Paul warranties his *labor* for a year. If there is an issue of some kind, he will the replace the units for me at no cost.
I highly reccommend Balanced Plumbing/Paul Martinez, and will definitely be using him again for my future plumbing needs.
