Update: 2/10/16 - Black trim over left rear wheel has come loose again, same as it was after accident as well as with my 1st attempt to pick up vehicle "after repairs" (to clarify lack of repairs).  Owner assured me it was an "easy fix" and had taken care of it..  All black "shine" he added to the trim to impress police had washed off within 2 days.  Unable to open tailgate without applying pressure to push it forward and then pull down. (and that doesn't always work).   I have received a lot of responses from social media.  Owner has drinking problem and has scammed quite a few people.  My pickup is a mess - I do not believe any repairs were done outside of a little paint, a reject replacement tail light, bubble gum to hold trim temporarily and a tin bumper not even made for my model truck.  Advise:  Beware.

Original Review:  Very poor customer relations which required me to have the assistance of the local police to obtain my vehicle. My first impression of the woman answering the phone was that she was abrupt, uninterested and could care less. I was uneasy to use this shop yet since this was an insurance claim I made arrangements to drop off my vehicle on a Sunday evening (due to my work schedule). I never received any communication until I finally got ahold of them 4 days later on Thursday. No common courtesy to even let me know that they had my vehicle.  I asked that after inspection of the damage that I receive a call that all the repairs were necessary (based on claim adjuster detail report).  Again I don't receive any communication. When they finally called couple days later I'm being told that the vehicle was in the paint booth and should be done soon.  What? No consideration at all to inform me ahead of time of what repairs were done...apparently my request to be contacted was too much to ask.  Again, woman could care less.
10 days later I went to pick up my vehicle after hours, sign power of attorney to release insurance check to shop (as instructed) and to leave in the drop box. When I arrive, I couldn't believe the condition of my truck. Looked like a $2.00 repair instead of the $2300.00 repair! Entire wheel well molding still popped out, no break lights, no running light, back up light filled with heavy condensation, tailgate still pushed in crooked from impact and unable to open. truck cap put back on too far forward on truck bed thus preventing the latch to close, hitch light wires hanging 2" from the ground...really KB?  10 days for this?  I have pictures to support claim.
I left a voicemail that evening.  The next morning my conversation with Ken, owner, was shocking to say the least as well as questionable as to his business ethics. Was it because he was talking to a woman, possible insurance scam, unqualified service tech, personal issues (of which he stated "I'm only human")?  He expected me, the customer, to give him a list of the things wrong with my truck and he would fix them.  What? He received a detailed listing of necessary repairs from the claim adjuster and now he expects me the consumer with no auto collision repair experience to tell him what's wrong "in a list"?  If I can see with my own eyes that it was still a mess, why am I to make a list? Money, money, money Mr. Owner but not out of your pocket.
Phone calls went back and forth during the day. Ken put my truck inside the building and would not release it to me until I inspected it to let him know if "I see" anything else wrong...again, is this my job!!!  Am I to go down the checklist of the claim adjuster? Due to my fear of his demeanor and the way he conducted himself, I contacted the local police to meet me outside the shop to obtain my vehicle. I handed the signed power of attorney document to the police officer for him to give to Ken so we could leave. I was not going on the property nor in the building to meet with him. HE WOULD NOT ACCEPT FROM THE OFFICER HIS OWN COMPANY SIGNED POWER OF ATTORNEY TO RELEASE PAYMENT!  THE POLICE OFFICER BROUGHT TO ME THE ACTUAL CHECK AND SAID KEN WOULD KEEP MY TRUCK INSIDE THE BUILDING INDEFINITELY UNLESS I SIGNED THE BACK OF THE ACTUAL INSURANCE CHECK!  Signed, sealed and delivered by the officer to a horrible, money hungry shop owner. Left with my truck, now with concerns they could have possibly done something intentional to damage my engine. CONSUMER BEWARE!!
Insult to injury KB Collision. This supports my claim that your shop is a scam, insurance money rip-off artist standards and that there is no regard for professional service or repair.   It's all about how little can be done but how much money you can put in your pocket with threats. I will take to social media to make the public aware of your business ethics or, with all due respect, the lack thereof.
