They called us the day before to let us know that they would be coming as scheduled and did come as scheduled. They removed the old gutters and downspouts with expertise first. Then they measured the areas and formed the seamless pieces of 6" gutters and applied them to the roof. After that, they formed the downspouts and applied them with a better angle than we had before so that they drain more efficiently. Afterwards they picked up all the debris and swept. They were very professional and knowledgeable in their work, and we are very pleased with the results. The work was completed within 8 hours the same day.

After some rain delays, the work was performed in a day in early July. On July 16, I got Gary over to point out some things that weren't done but had been agreed on at the time of the estimate. Then I paid him for the work with the expectation that the details would be taken care of soon. It took quite a few phone calls to finally get him to come back a couple of weeks later. Even so, I could tell it was a rush job and some things that I specifically discussed were left as they were. Then during some rain storms a few weeks later, I noticed that one area was not draining properly. Again I called a few times before getting any response. Gary finally called back and said he came by and saw the problem and would take care of it. At one point I even offered to pay extra to get the problem fixed. To this day September, 15, it has not been taken care of.
I will be calling another company to fix the problem.
My lesson here is that I should not have paid in full before I knew all the work was done according to our agreement at the time of the estimate.
The main point I'd like to to make about K&M is that their communication is awful. Calling their main number will get Gary's wife or an answering machine. A left message may not be responded to for days if at all. Even using his cell number, it seemed to take a second or third call to get Gary to call back.
I will be calling another company to fix the problem.

"The member's gutters were completed as quoted. He called shortly after completion and wanted some minor changes, which were also completed. A few weeks later he requested some additonal work which he was willing to pay for. This is the subject of his complaint. In the member's defense, he did wait longer than usual, but it was never our intent not to do the work requested. We have since completed the work. This was not a "rush" job. Because our crew has many years experience, we can expertly complete a gutter job of this size in a day. We have been in business since 1977 and have completed thousands of homes in the area.
