We have been a customer of American Tree and turf for 3 years. 1 st year level of product of good, 2nd year level of service was in serious decline. Complaints were made and we were assured that this level of service would not be repeated again. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. I sustained a severe injury this spring and opted to hire them weekly to maintain my lawn by mowing and edging because I could not do so. My lawn has never looked so bad. The mowing was extremely sloppy, clippings left every where even though we paid extra to have it bagged and removed. I have weeds everywhere. I discussed my concerns with the separate crews repeatedly. I have a hilly yard and they have very large ride on mowers that carve blade marks at the top of the hills and kill my grass, they would miss sections all together, come on different days and times and were just sloppy. They would just zip through as fast as they could with no regard for final product or any level of proper work ethic at all. My husband placed several calls and was told the owner would make a trip out to survey the work. He never showed up. We left out of state on vacation and I did not pay my bill because I was unhappy with American Tree and Turfs inability to do the job I hired them for . That is when the borage of phone calls and emails began about my late bill. My husband contacted them about our un satisfaction and set up a meeting with the owner upon our return. In the interim they stopped cutting and maintaining our lawn. The owner arrived 45 minutes late. Agreed our lawn looked awful, demanded we pay the amount past due and the month of July even though he has not cut it at all. He was rude, and completely uncaring of our concerns. I paid him the past due amount in full, even though I shouldnt have due to his below sub-par level of work and customer service skills. Just an awful experience with an awful company.

The price is reasonable. They are punctual.
