About us
In 1945, Lawrence Walker left his position as plant manager of a local manufacturer to start his own business. Using his life savings and a mortgage on the family home, he purchased a vacant industrial facility where he founded Streator Dependable Mfg. His vision was to develop a successful business that would continue to expand and prosper throughout the years and provide financial opportunity for his family and future generations.
