"Thank you for the 5 star review!"
"It was my pleasure thank you for the nice words"
Also, the tech was personable and knowledgeable and established rapport.
However, I wish to note that when one week had elapsed from the initial interview of 6-21-2011, no one from the company had called to set up an appointment for the first pest treatment. So I called them on 6-28-2011 about their lag time which was supposed to be about three days. I said that it's been longer than that; let's arrange this appointment. So the next day, 6-29, the technician came. He had been working downstate the previous two days.
When I looked at the ant colony outside by the front porch near the end of the day on 6-30, there was a massive ant kill. Hurray! I assume that the ants in the basement, more hidden from view, suffered the same fate. The contract has the technician returning the end of July to do another substantial pest treatment inside and outside.
I wish to add that Jane was personable and knowledgeable.
Regarding cost: The price was $199 for the initial assessment plus first actual pest treatment. Then the price will be $139 per treatment. I consider this rather expensive, but the company claims to kill pests, not just control them. Like they say, "You get what you pay for." I'm counting on high quality effective service.
