Dary Carpets & Floors Inc

This job was coordinated while we were not present. We had not moved in yet. They removed all existing carpets and took everything away as planned. Everything was completed and scheduled on time, just as planned. When were arrived, everything was completed and looked just as I had planned. Our sales rep, Mike, was very responsive to emails and met with us once the work was completed.

Carpet on order -- install scheduled for Mid- Late April.

My brother moved in and his electric wheelchair destroyed my carpet so I decided to take out the carpet and to put in vinyl flooring. I went by their store when I went to another store shopping. I went into their store, I told them what I was looking for. They sent a guy over and took all the measurements, recommended a product and I approved the product. They went to work and it was done and over with.

They did a very good job, they were very responsive to my questions, very informative about the materials, very professional about the installation. I did a bedroom, hallway and living room. 

They took out the carpet, cleaned the floor, put in the mop boards. When I get ready to do my kitchen, I'm going to call them back.

Don and his team were amazing to work with. The laminate floors we selected are gorgeous and were very reasonably priced. I loved the fact that it is a local family owed business and that I got to work directly with the owner. The installer was also excellent. He was on time, extremely efficient, and pleasant. It's hard to get al of that in one person! I definitely see us using Dary again in the future. The price below reflects removal and disposal of old flooring and trim, flooring install and hung all baseboards and door casings that we provided.

Excellent service. They were able to fix a bulge in the carpet that was created when we had a new patio door installed. Quick fix, nice service guy, and cost effective.

It went smoothly.  The carpets cleaned up well.  We had a problem getting the carpets to dry, but this was due to high humidity levels and my misunderstanding about running the air conditioning.  The company was very responsive when I called with my concern about delayed drying and came to remedy the issue to prevent any mold/mildew development due to the undesirable weather conditions.

When we went in one of the owners showed us around and when we started to look at a particular brand he noted that he had a couple of rolls of the material in stock which he could discount significantly.  There were several options on binding material.  They did the work in no time at all and delivered it promptly all at a cost significantly less than other quotes we got for the same material.

It was great!  They showed up on time, as planned, and one of the Dary's oversaw the entire install to ensure everything was up to par.  Couldn't have asked for better service.

The installer showed up on time but it was downhill from there!  The two runners I purchased had borders on them, which I pointed out to the installer, and indicated that, because there were only six stairs, if he started at the top with one runner and from the bottom with the other, the edge border would be consistent.  Sure enough, after he had gone, I noticed that one of the edge borders was running across the middle stair riser! He charged me $100, which I thought was high for 20 minutes work, and there were pencil marks showing along both sides of the runners on each step that I had to scrub off. A week or so later a friend of ours, in construction, visited. We were showing off the new stair runner installation, with the border across the center riser that I looked at every time I walk by, when our friend started pointing out what was wrong with it. There was no tack strips or padding!  The runner is stapled directly to the stairs. In all fairness I have to say that I did not contact the store.  I was so disgusted, how could a business send out someone like that?  I will have nothing else to do with Dary Carpeting!

We didn't use them. It was a positive experience. They were very professional when they came out but we went with somebody else because the price was better.

Great experience purchasing the right pad to go under our rugs.   We purchased a roll of padding that we pieced together in two sections for two large rugs. 

I was very pleased. They came out and measured. I went to the store originally and picked out some samples. they back to the house to measure and brought the samples with. We went over what was best for me at the time. They sent three guys out to install the carpet. They were really helpful. I am a single mom and there was a lot of stuff I was not able to move on my own. They had no problems moving furniture and it was really organized. They were in and out when they said they would be. I was happy with it. They cleaned up after themselves and they helped me move furniture back in. I would definitely recommend them. They are family owned. I think they take a little more pride in what they do.

We bid this job out to several carpet contractors and it came down to Dary Carpet and another company. We considered both companies to be about equal in terms of price and ability to do the job along with our confidence that either would be fine. We gave the nod to Dary on the strength of a recommendation from a friend who had used them. We made the right choice. Dary does not use sub-contractors which we like...a lot. Mike Dary was easy to deal with and his crew arrived on time and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves at days end. We had hired them to move the larger pieces of furniture and they did that carefully. We would absolutely use Dary Carpets again.

Our experience with the salespeople was excellent. They knew what they were talking about and promptly came right over to measure our rooms. The only issue I had was the installers being on the phone with a buddy who needed help with another install job and they seemed to be in a rush to get done and go help the buddy. After 8 months no issues with the carpet at all and a much better price than Empire and Luna quoted for similar materials.

I would go back to them. I never had anything else other than carpeting done. I haven?t had any tile work or wood flooring done by them. They are very reasonable and are pretty responsible. Dary Carpets is a family owned company. The people who came to my house were very helpful and answered all my questions. I didn?t think they were trying to oversell me anything. I recommend them and my sister uses their services too. They have been really good.

We felt they were somewhat expensive, but the job went very well. They are a very reliable company, and we were very satisfied with the finished project. I would use them again in the future.

We carpeted most of the house in a soft, beige (with grey "speckles") Softstrand Frieze of . The basement was carpeted with a remnant of an ultra soft and kid friendly carpet. I believe it's a high end nylon but feels like wool to me. Also carpeted upstairs with a $20 remanant of an ultra durable berber. Working with Don and Dary carpets was a first class experience from start to finish. We are first time homebuyers on a tight budget and done a lot of comparison shopping. I went to Dary somewhere in the middle of that process. We came in and we were immediately greeted at the door by Don. He showed us some specials they were having the prices were the lowest we'd seen at that point. He offered to measure our house and we had him come over. A couple of the places we received estimates from had subcontractor with laser beam measurement of the rooms. When Dary carpets came to measure, it was Don and a tape measure. Ultimately he had a great combination of fantastic service and the lowest price around. We were lucky to find Dary carpet. Don worked within our budget, empathized over our situation as first timers, treated us as people rather than giving us the used car salesman routine. (no offense to those used car salesmen out there.) I just felt that they were invested in making sure we got something very nice for our money. We gave our deposit and waited for installation day to arrive. The installers who were employed by Dary directly and not subcontracted, were on time, courteous, gave us an estimate of when they'd be done and got started. They finished about an hour behind their estimate, but it was no big deal. When they called us to let us know they were done, we came over and were stunned at how wonderful the house looked. It was an amazing transformation. Kudos to my wife for selecting such great looking carpet. As a side note, the "waste" that was left over was limited to a couple of 2x2 patches of each carpet installed. I was convinced the laser measurements were so much more accurate but Don proved me quite wrong. To sum it up, after some new paint and this new soft new carpet for our baby to crawl around on, this starter townhouse has quickly become our home.

These guys are super. They did a fine job and let us take the samples home to be sure we picked the right color. When they arrived, they realized they had forgotten the carpet for one of the rooms. They replaced that carpet free of charge the next day without me even asking. I appreciate the fact that they were willing to offer that to me and appreciate the customer service. I would highly recommend them.

THE FIRST QUESTION I ASKED WHEN I WENT TO THEIR STORE WAS ABOUT THE INSTALLERS. AN OLDER GUY NAMED BOB (EITHER THE FATHER OR THE UNCLE) ASSURED ME THAT THEY USED THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES, IN FACT HE TOLD ME THE DARY SONS DID MOST OF THE INSTALLATIONS. WHAT A SURPRISE WHEN A DIFFERENT CARPETING COMPANY (COMFORT CARPETS) CAME TO INSTALL IT! THE INSTALLER WAS INDEED A SUB-CONTRACTOR, AND TOOK A LOT OF HIS OWN BUSINESS CALLS DURING THE INSTALLATION. I DO NOT LIKE TO BE LIED TO. FORTUNATELY, THIS GUY, AND HIS HELPERS DID AN OKAY JOB, BUT WHO KNOWS WHO WILL INSTALL THE NEXT JOB. I ALSO HAD TO ARGUE WITH THE GUY ABOUT THE LOCATION OF A SEAM THAT MIKE DARY, AND I HAD DISCUSSED WHEN HE CAME TO MEASURE. JUST ANOTHER SIDE EFFECT OF USING SUBS (COMMUNICATION BREAK-DOWN).
