All seemed to go well. The yard was graded and the sump was installed, though without the "pop up" required. He knew that he was working on a new asphalt drive and I assumed he would use care to make sure it wasn't damaged with equipment. When the job was done it was very muddy so the driveway was covered in mud, no big deal, until I washed it off and found that he had parked his 10 wheeler on the drive and it had sunk into the asphalt. Upon further inspecition I found gouges in the surface that were made with his back hoe. When I brought this up to his attention, via voice mail, I never received a response. So I called the person that recommended him...Got a call right back that he was going to check with the paving company and see what could be done. I finally called the paving company only to be told that nothing was going to be done. He called back and said that I could just paint the spots with sealer... I gave him one more chance by calling him and explaining that no action was not acceptable...To date, I am still waiting for a response.
