Reasonable Electrician

I called to get a quote for some minor electrical work. (Swap out electrical outet for GFCI outlet, Replace a hardwired Smoke/CO detector) The owner told me he couldn't get to me until next week as he was too busy working on his own house, despite also telling me that business was slow. He repeatedly kept telling me about this despite my efforts to steer him back to my project. I had to repeat what needed to be done several times within in a 5 minute time span. When I eventually got a quote from him, I thanked him and told him that I had just started calling around for an electrician and would let him know. It was at this point that he said: "Are you kidding me. For this price you are going to call around. Forget it". He hung up on me while I was talking.

They lived quite a distance, so they had a lot of specially driving to do. The son has a business of his own, I think he does a little bit of everything. Because the lived so far, they worked into the night. They had that little hats on with the lights. I can't complain about them. They were very professional. I will probably not use them again because of the distance they have to travel. If it's a small job, it is a lot easier to hire somebody from the area.
