One person came out to do the checkup. It took him about 45 minutes to complete the service. He left the area clean.

He arrived late for which he apologized.  I called them because the fan in the condenser wasn't working and, I had purchased the condenser from them 2 summers ago.   The day before was very hot and I turned on the a/c without removing the cover.  I realized my mistake and checked (what I thought was) the breaker switch.  When the tech looked at the condenser, he flicked a switch which I hadn't seen.  When the unit came on, he attached some hoses to the unit.  He seemed uncomfortable with me watching him.  I should explain that I am disabled and was watching him from the back door.  I turned my head for a moment and the tech quickly  walked up to the door to show me a nail and Freon on his hand.  He asked me if I had had my grass mowed.  He said that a nail was in my condenser hose and leaked out all the Freon. He said that it probably happened when the lawnmower hit the nail.
He then told me that, because he would have to replace the hose and all the Freon,  the job would cost $1,345 dollars. I told him that I would pay for the estimate and that I could not afford that.  He then offered to take off $100 if I became a "Club" member.  I again said that I couldn't afford that.  He then said that he would do it for $300 dollars.  He finished the job and went to the thermostat and took out my dirty filter, put it back in the unit with a clean one. He charged me approx. 365.00.  I do not trust this provider and will never use them again.

My heating and air company had gone out of business much to my disappointment since they had sold me a 20yr. warranty.  Then Community Heating and Air bought their phone numbers.  I called the phone numbers for All Seasons and got Community.  They explained to me that All Seasons had gone out of business.
I was having a problem with my furnace going off and the house getting very cold.  They tried to sell me an additional 10 yr. warranty on my 8 yr. old unit for 3,000.  I said, "well, i could purchase a new unit for that".  Why would I do that?  I knew then it was crazy sounding.  So, i didn't purchase it and only got the unit cleaned and serviced with some vacuuming
Well, then in Jan my unit starting shutting off again 3-4 times in one week.  i called Community again and they sent out a man for free this time.  He said it was overheating and we needed a new unit.  he gave me a price good for 7 days since my spouse was out of
town.
I really didn't think i needed a new unit.  the second man did no diagnostic test to see what part was defective even tho he sounded quite knowledgeable about the parts.
My husband said to call for a second opinion and I am so glad I did.  I found another company on Angie's List and was thoroughly pleased with their very professional service.  Therefore I will not be using Community anymore.  Both men tried to get about 3k out of me and I just don't have it.

Arrived on time. Fixed the problem. Waited around after the heater started to be sure everything was working correctly. Educated me on how to maintain the unit.
