U-Haul Moving & Storage - Springfield

I went online and ordered the parts for U Haul to put a hitch on my Ford Escape.  I made an appointment and all was set.  I dropped off my vehicle and was told it would be ready by a certain time at the latest.  I needed my vehicle back by that time and thought they had plenty of time to do the work.  I had to call them to see when it would be done and they said most likely by the promised time.  I arrived and waited several minutes to be waited on.  There was nobody physically in the store with me for a period of time.  I could have easily walked out with anything I wanted.  A guy started to wait on me and had to call someone else to see what was going on.  I had prepaid online but he needed to make sure I didn't need to pay for anything else.  Before he could place the call, another man walked in.  He waited on this man before making the call to finish helping me.  Needless to say, by this point I was quite upset.  When he made the call, a phone rang behind the counter (obviously the man had left his phone in the store).  The guy was confused and had to call the number again.  He finally figured out a way to get a hold of the guy he was trying to reach.  I saw this man coming over from the garage and he was taking his sweet time.  He noticed the front door was stuck open and took time to fix it.  I asked if he could do that later as I had now been waiting approximately 20 mins just to pick up my vehicle.  He FINALLY made his way over just to figure out that I owed nothing at all and all I needed to do was sign something to get my key.  I was furious.  I moved a friend to town and literally drove across town to return the trailer so I would not have to deal with these guys again.  They are down the street from me but I will never use their services again.  The other U-Haul store in town is much better but this location is terrible!

I would definitely use their services again.  I would recommend their services to other people.

The truck was kind of old.
