Response from The Cleaning Guy - Springfield

"WOW!! Where to begin...the Satterlees (John & Susan) hired our company twice. Although collection our payment for the first round of services was a trying task we allowed this relationship again (against our better judgment) and AGAIN collections ensued...this time however we have obtained a judgment for the amount due of $1,009.12 (Sangamon Count 2014-SC-5180) of which NOTHING has been paid. So [Member Name Removed] how the h*** do you justify a "C" for price when the amount you and Mrs. Satterlee have paid is ZERO??? Notice should also be taken of [Member Name Removed] is not paying - not because of poor quality (she continued having us return to her house WITH NO CONTRACT) but rather because of her federal indictment...(Case #3:15-cr-30011-SEM-TSH) for "Fraud by Wire, Radio or Television" of which a pre-trial conference is currently scheduled for November 16,2015, in Springfield, Illinois. The [Member Name Removed] appear to have an interesting past in the legal system ranging for various collections actives, orders of protection, evictions and foreclosures and bankruptcy. Many creditors have been left holding the bag at the pleasure of the [Member Name Removed]. To complain and leave nasty reviews in such circumstances in quite appalling. I can not however say I am surprised considering the things we have seen while in their house. Anyone seeking to do business with these individuals should be warned and get cash up front - contracts seem to mean nothing to those willing to screw you over."

His name is Jeff Miller and I would not use him for anything. He is a scam artist. It was a totally bad situation. He put a lien on our home for $400 because he had overcharged us for some things and I refused to pay it. Of course I had to pay it when I sold the house. I called and told him that I wasn't very happy about it. He said the more I talked about it, he was getting more coverage so go ahead and say whatever I wanted. He was not punctual. He was more interested in what we had and anything we were getting rid of. I had to call 2 or 3 times each time. He always had an excuse. He didn't do what he said he was going to do. We had a painting that he and his helper broke the glass on. I said I would have to get it replaced and he said to give it to him because he had a friend that could put the glass in it. I told him that wasn't how it was going to work because it was a pretty expensive painting. When I told him what it was, he said it was ridiculous and he wasn't paying that much. I would not use him for anything. I looked him up in the secretary of state's records and he had placed almost a dozen liens in the last 5 years. He didn't have a vacuum that worked very well.

"a term comes to mind..."grouchy old fart" - i am however rather interested in the "...dozen liens placed against me in 5 years..." news to me skippy. as you will recall you were paid for all the items which i purchased from you - how is this any different than you selling them at your moving sale? the "friend" to which i would have taken your "artwork" was the owner of a very nice frameshop in town (conveniently left that out didn't you) and you decided to not take that offer - which would likely have cost more than what you assessed for the project. i did place a lien on the property and did get paid, with interest if i recall. hope you're enjoying your new house."

Bottom line-this operation is only in it
for your money. His team rushes through
the cleaning, breaks stuff, disregards notes
with requests for specific work, left the key in
our front door & all the lights on after a visit, ripped us off
of our money by doing poor work & then failed to return our house key
- I called the police and they are now involved. (The general
manager had the audacity to flippantly tell me
to tell the police hello for him.). The general manager
is shady at best. I wouldn't trust him to clean
My dog's kennel.
