Spencer came by on Saturday to power wash deck to let it dry. Staining was to begin on Monday. While this created a mess, it was something that could not have been prevented. The wood chips flew everywhere. On Monday, Spencer started on the pergola and it seemed a two day job would turn into a week long project. On Tuesday, they finished. I was amazed. They only used 7 gallons of paint not the 8 originally quoted. The deck looks great. It should last for years.
