Poorly. Ended up with splotchy looking deck - many shiny areas. Contractor refused to remedy without further charges. Was told by stain company he did not prep the deck properly and overapplied the stain causing the splotchy appearance.

Take any comments to follow in the context of my having purchased my first home and was very anxious to move in. I took the suggestion of a friend and had the work described above completed before moving in, but I am not the patient type and nothing could have moved fast enough for me. Bob's crew worked daily on this project and in doing so found several areas of the walls and ceilings that needed repair which he did. It seemed that most of the walls needed some repairs after stripping paper. I saw little of the work itself, but have to say that the tramsformation was remarkable. Not only did they make the walls look great, but I could not find a single bit of moisture (they used warm water to remove the paper), dust, or paint drips anywhere. The ugly carpet that had come with the house was spared defilement. He took a couple of days longer than I wanted, but he withstood my impatience with aplomb. In the end, the wait was worth it.
