ON CALL BUILDING REPAIR

The estimated cost was $9099.28. Estimated work start date was April 26th, 2010 and estimated about 2 to 3 weeks to complete the work. But the work didn?t start until the middle of May, and took them 2.5 months to finish up. They didn?t do much for the first few weeks after started the job. He (the owner?s name is Bradley Zeiger) told me it is because of the weather. But when i asked him why they were not working even when the weather was good. He said it?s because they also do 24 hrs emergency on call service, so they have to take care those first. And After repeated phone calling, he asked for $4600 down payment. So I gave him the $4600 and hope that he will finish up the work quickly. It was already 4 weeks since the starting date. They started showing up more on the job site now, but progress still very slow. The workers texting on the cell phone for 15 mins even when I was there watching!!! The quality of the work?? BAD!! Poor job, Very unprofessional (is there any way I can upload some photos to show the work they have done!!??). I tried to contact the owner again, and he stopped answering and returning my call at all. He only asked his worker to talk to me, and the worker didn?t care much what I said. Finally, they have most of the ?work done ? in early August. But I have to re-do some of their poor job myself. They never actually clean up the work site, and left me hundreds of soda cans, water bottoms etc.. The finish payment was $9199.28. He charged me extra $100 for mowing my yard which I never asked him to do. And he never showed me the proof of mowing my yard. And i hire him to replace my siding not mowing the yard! What a liar!
